A/N: I love Tony and Ziva. These stroies will be short and some may be based off the episodes and others have just come to mind. This story just came to mind and I know it's not Christmas its just that I was listening to Christmas Lights by Coldplay while reading Dear John. (Two out of the 10 things I love in the world)

Disclaimer: I do not own NCIS or the characters.

It was about 11:45 on Christmas Eve and Ziva sat in the apartment in which she and the love of her life, Tony DiNozzo, lived together. Ziva had just poured herself a glass of hot tea and set it down on her coffee table. She then took a seat on her couch were she looked out of her giant window that had a fantastic view of the Lincoln Memorial. She then picked up her mail and shuffled through it all. Not from Tony, not from Tony, oh a letter from Tony.

Dear Ziva,

I miss you so much. Being away from you for the past 3 months has been awful. I'm sorry I haven't been able to call you at all, there has been several murders on my ship which I cannot discuss with anyone. I know you were expecting me home this week on Christmas but unfortunately I am not allowed to come home and see you. Just know that whenever and where ever you are, I am always thinking of you.

I just want to make sure that you know that I love you. I love you so much I'm not sure how much longer I will be able to stay on this ship without you. I wish you the Merriest of Christmas Ziva from where I am currently stationed. I love you Ziva and know that I will return soon.

Before I end this letter I just have one question for you…

Ziva heard a knock at her door thinking that someone must have brought her a gift or something. But no, there was Tony on one knee holding a small, black box that held the most beautiful ring she has ever seen.

"Ziva David, the love of my life, marry me?"

"Yes, yes I will Tony!"

And with that Tony stood up and slid the ring on to Ziva's finger and picked her up and kissed her.

"Ti voglio bene."

"Anch'io ti amo."

"Buon Natale Ziva."

"Buon Natale Tony."

A/N: These words were in Italian.

Ti voglio bene: I love you

Anch'io ti amo: I love you too

Buon Natale: Merry Christmas

There will be more stories to come... I just don't know how often.
