Scared little boy behind those eyes,

Deep dark pain but never cries,

Holds his own in a fight,

Thoughts running through his mind,

But he keeps quite,

In the shadows is were he leys,

Like a black cat he is a stray,

Friends, a word he's not familiar with,

Love, that he's never been given,

Scared little boy behind those eyes

His heart confused where to go,

Hurt little boy but never shows,

He tries,

To hide,

Runs away each time,

Difficulty at its prime

Scared little boy behind those eyes,

He's a leader,

An achiever,

But most of all,

A dreamer

Scared little boy behind those eyes,

Like a bird he wants to fly,

Be accepted by you and I

Yes ,indeed,

He is who he wants to be

A strong grown man behind those eyes,

Never quits and walks with pride,

Not afraid to speak his mind,

No longer that scared little boy behind those eyes
