Scene: The 9th grade health class, the class is discussing first aid.
The teacher is speaking "to treat severe bleeding apply pressure surrounding and directly on the wound. This will restrict blood flow and reduce the blood loss while you tie a bandage around the wound."
Bell sound
"Ok, don't forget we're using the CPR dummies tomorrow so please be prompt!"
Ashley, Paige, Terri, and Hazel are leaving the room.
Ashley says, "Ready for the big girls night out ladies?"
Terri replies, "You bet, I found the best pajamas ever. I can't wait to play truth or dare! Just like when we were kids"
Paige comments, "Yeah, just like when we were kids, [under her breath] thank god it's not true, still kids.
Hazel speaks up, "Well, I'll meet you guys at my place at 6? Everyone says that sounds good and the girls part.
Scene: Paige's house
Paige walks in the door, the house is silent. As usual, it's been silent a lot lately. No one ever seems to be around anymore. She walks into her bedroom, pulls out her elementary school photo album and sifts through the pages. She studies photos of friends who have come and gone, of the person she was, back then. Flash back scene:
Scene: School Yard
Bully, "Hey Paige, where'd you get that shirt? Last years R' Us?" Paige shuffles her feet and sits down by herself to eat.
Bully, "Hey Paige, come stand with us!" Paige gets excited and walks nervously towards the group of kids.
Bully, "Heard you were working pretty hard on your English assignment?"
Paige, "Yeah, it's great, a lot of fun, I'm almost done writing it!" Bully tears the papers from her hands.
Bully, "thanks a lot, I just love doing business with you."
Paige, "Give that back!"
Bully hands it out for her, she tries to take it and the bully grabs her head and beats her around leaving her crying on the ground, with her nose bleeding.
End of flash back
Paige quickly closes the book and slides it under her bed. She begins to look for clothes to wear for tonight, she settles on her pink pajama pants with a pale yellow long sleeved t-shirt
Scene: Hazels House
The girls are sitting in the basement in their Pajamas.
Hazel, "Okay guys, it's time for some good old-fashioned truth or dare, I'll start. Ok, Ashley, truth or dare?"
Ashley, "Truth" Hazel, "How old were you and who was your first kiss?" Ashley, Giggles slightly "Well, don't laugh guys, no one has ever found out about this. Spinner, in the 6th grade."
Girls all giggle
Ashley, "Okay, my turn, Paige truth or dare?
Paige, "truth."
Ashley, "hmm. Are you afraid of dying?"
Paige, "what kind of a question is that?" Terri, "An Ashley one." Ashley shoots her a look
Paige, "Well, I mean, we all go sometime right? It's just a matter of when, so no, not really. I'm going to go use the bathroom guys."
Paige leaves the room and enters Hazel's bathroom. She pulls her sleeve back to uncover 10-20 cuts, then she sifts through the drawers to find a razor blade, takes the cover off and cuts her arm 6 times before applying toilet paper to get rid of the blood. She pulls her sleeve down and cleans up and goes back to the party.
