Kay, I'm attempting to write a random one-shot that I think will fail.

I did not waste writing time on this! I wrote it in the car on the way to my uncle's to feed his dogs (BTW they're soooooooo cute)

In this story Amy and Ian are eighteen and they live together. Amy just got some good/bad news and Ian's calming her down.

Disclaimer: You know I don't own this.

"Amy, this is wonderful!" Ian exclaimed. Amy had just woke him up, panicked, shaking something in his face and then told him the news.

"No it isn't! I'm only eighteen I'm not ready for this!" Amy said, panicked.

"Love, you're smart you can manage. And I'll even help you if you need it."

"I'll need it that's for sure. I can't do this alone."

Ian took his girlfriend's hand. "Don't worry, love, this wouldn't have happened if it wasn't meant to. Everything happens for a reason."

"You got that from a fortune cookie!" Amy accused.

"So? I feel it applies here nicely."

Amy rolled her eyes at him. "Well what if the reason is to show me that I made a bad decision?"

"Well then that really sucks. But I know its right."

"You don't know everything!"

"But I know you. And I know that you're strong enough to handle this."

"But I've heard so many horrible things-"

"That won't happen to you." Ian finished "You aren't going to turn out like those people. You will go to college and get a good job and we'll raise a family together one day." he put his arm around her waist, pulling her closer.

"What makes you think I'll marry you?" Amy teased.

"Because you love me."

"Yes I do." Amy rolled her eyes again "But don't change the subject. I still don't think I'm ready."

"Amy, just a week or two ago you told me you would be ready if this happened and now you're scared?" Ian questioned.

"I just said that because I didn't think it would really happen! I don't want this now."

"You don't have to be ready now. You still have a few months to prepare." Ian reassured. Amy was really making too big of a deal out of this.

"Will that be enough?" Amy asked.

It was Ian's turn to roll his eyes. "Amy, my love you worry too much. You'll be just fine."

"Ian, this will change my life! I have a reason to worry! Everything will change." she finished quietly.

"Sometimes change is good. And, like I said, I'll be with you the whole time." Ian promised.

"No you won't." Amy said.

"Even when I'm not around I'll stay right here." he pointed to her heart.

"But that's not enough. What if something happens?"

Ian was getting annoyed by her constant worrying. He loved Amy but she worried too much.

"Amy, I love you and I always will. This little twist won't change anything."

"It's not little!"

"It's not big either."

"But-"

That was it. Ian obviously couldn't convince her.

"For God's sake, Amy, if you don't want to go off to collage then don't go okay?" he exclaimed.

It's done. What do you think? Okay, so Amy got accepted into a collage and now she's scared to go but Ian was trying to convince her to go. Yeah…

Again, I'm sorry if there are grammar issues.

I got this idea from Broadway4eva's "Get Up and Write" prompt.
