A/N: Hey guys, White here. Can't believe I'm saying this, but the one-year anniversary of my personal darkest day in WWE history is here. It was one year ago today that Seth Rollins betrayed his brothers, bringing The Shield to a heartbreaking end. This little one-shot explores Dean's feelings one year after that horrible day. It's a short one, about 300+ words as its a tad hard to write this stuff given how much this stuff still hurts. Enjoy despite the length guys!

The first thing Dean Ambrose did when he woke up every morning before he started his daily workouts was check his calendar he had which was a WWE-themed 2015 one to the right of his bed.
The current day made the Lunatic Fringe frown and begin to grind his teeth in anger.
June 2nd...
That one day represented the worst night of his life a year ago...
June 2nd 2014 should have been a night of celebration and triumph for he and his Shield brothers Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns.
But it wasn't...
Roman was set to take on Evolution's Randy Orton in the night's main event but as Hunter came out with his signature sledgehammer, he cryptically spoke of a Plan B..
As The Shield approached their Evolution opponents, Seth would shock the world by plunging a figurative knife into their backs as he attacked both men with a steel chair.
Dean let out a frustrated scream as he stormed out of the room, only to be discovered by his girlfriend Renee Young.
"Morning baby. Hard day huh?" Renee asked gently.
"Yes Nene. You know it is. It's the one-year anniversary of Seth backstabbing us." Dean answered bitterly.
Renee hugged him immediately, leading him into her room for some special healing.
She knew he was hurting, and knew just how to make him feel better...
