This is a MuXMurrue fic. A little of Murrue's thoughts when Neo wakes. Written after watching episode 33 of Gundam Seed Destiny. That being said, please review. The title Me ga samete, atashi no koi means 'wake up, my love'. It's referring to what Murrue wants, she wants Mu to wake up and be himself again.

"Who is this Mu? I am Captain Neo Roanoke. I refuse to give up my title even though I am being held hostage." The man before me declares. Each word stabs ever deeper into the void that has become my heart. When I thought I had lost him, my heart shattered. But now, when he has finally returned to me I thought my heart would be put back together. I was wrong. As he stared at me with those uncaring eyes I could only cry. I watched through eyes obscured by tears at the man I had known. His expression softens for a moment.
"What's wrong, did you fall in love with me at first sight, beautiful?" He smirks. Just like he used to. For that brief moment I am fooled into thinking he has returned to me. I was wrong. That is the last straw, the stranger is imitating the man I love; making my newly rebuilt heart shatter into a thousand pieces once more. I run. I do not know why I run, but I cannot bear to be with that man. He is not my Mu!
I manage to run a few meters before the void of my heart collapses and I slam against a wall, crying. He is not here. He is not anywhere anymore. Mu…
I know it was short, but I really felt I had to do something for this couple. It was too sad. Please review. It will help me for something I am planning. No, not world domination, but I was thinking of doing a chapter fic for these tow star-crossed lovers.
