Draco Malfoy was bored.

B. O. R. E. D.

Crazy bored, insanely bored, I'm-so-bored-i-could-jump-out-of-this-bloody-train bored.

Not that he could. He was a Malfoy, after all. He had an image to maintain. Mustn't go jumping off of trains like a common crazy, oh no. just think what your father would say.

So no, Draco couldn't jump out the window. Pity, that, because if he had, none of the following story would have taken place, and so I, your esteemed authouress, would be off frolicking in the rain, not sitting here typing this up. Anyway, (dammit! I keep getting off topic!)he couldn't jump off the train. But Draco could, and did, sigh deeply and announce his boredom to the world. It didn't reply, of course; it was too busy trying not to throw up. I mean really, you try spinning in orbit for millions of years, then see if you aren't a little nauseous.

But I digress. Draco was about to speak, was he not?

"Blaise," he said grandly, "I am bored." He glanced over at his year-mate and waited for a reaction. None was forthcoming. The darker boy hardly even looked up from his book. (Curses, Jinxes, and Hexes: a Complete Compendium, by Antipathy Paragone) Draco growled, and poked the boy. "If you don't pay attention to me right now, I'll hex you," he threatened, only half in jest. He really was bored. Blaise narrowed his eyes slightly, and turned a page in his book. "Really," he drawled, "is that so?"

Draco smirked. "Yes. Yes it is."

The other looked up, also smirking. "Well then. We simply can't have that, now can we? I can think of several highly entertaining things we can do right her and now…" He leaned towards Draco, and reached out a hand to cup his cheek. The blonde blinked lazily, murmuring, "Do you have something specific in mind?"

To which Blaise simply replied, "yes. I do, actually," and captured the larger boy's lips with his own.

Needless to say, Draco spent the rest of the train ride decidedly not bored. Which was the point all along.
