'Til I Forget About You
Prompt: 'Til I Forget About You- BTR

Get a call on a random afternoon.
I pick it up and I see that it's you.
Like my heart, you were breaking the news.
You said, "It's over."
Heading out cause I'm out of my mind.
All my friends are gonna see me tonight.
Staying here until the sun starts to rise.

Emily sat in her apartment, reading. The team was on stand-down and Emily was ecstatic. She was absorbed in her book when her phone suddenly rang. She looked at who it was and quickly flipped it open. "Hi, Aaron."
"Emily, I need to talk to you."
"What about?"
"Well, I don't really think our relationship is working out. I just don't feel the same way anymore. Do you understand?" Aaron asked, sincerely.
"Yea. I understand, Aaron." She said, almost in tears.
"I'm sorry, Emily. I have to go, I'll talk to you later."
"Okay. Bye, Aaron." She said, flipping her phone shut.

She wasn't going to let this bother her. Aaron was trying to let her down easily. It didn't hurt as bad as she'd expected it to. She went in her room, got dressed, and drove to the local bar. She didn't expect to see Morgan sitting at a table all by himself. She decided to walk over toward him.

"Hi, Morgan." Emily said, putting on a smile.
"Emily! Hey! Sit down?"
"Sure."
"So, what brings you here?" Morgan asked.
"I wanted to get out of the house." Emily lied.
"Why didn't you call Hotch and go out somewhere with him?"

Emily almost broke at hearing Hotch's name. She quickly composed herself and said, "He's busy."
"Oh. Okay then." Morgan said, seeing through her lie.
"Morgan, we broke up. He called me before and said he didn't feel the same way anymore." Emily said in a rush.
"Oh, Emily. I'm sorry. Are you okay?"
"Yeah. I'm fine. Do you want to dance?"
"Sure."
Emily and Derek danced for a while before Emily said she had to go home and rest.

I swear I'll do anything that I have to
Until I forget about you.
You thought I'd be here on my own,
Waiting for you to knock on my door.
Since you left, I don't wait by the phone.
I'm moving on.

Later on the next day, Hotch knocked on Emily's door. He wanted to talk to her in person. He was shocked when the door opened and Morgan was standing there. Morgan was shocked and said, "Hotch?"

Emily sat on the couch. She heard a knock on the door and Morgan got up to answer it. She heard him say, "Hotch?" She quickly stood up and walked to the door.
"Emily, can we talk, please?"
"Sure. What do you want to talk about?"
"I'm sorry for what I said yesterday. I don't want to hurt you. I just want to be friends. Are you okay?"
"I'm fine, Hotch. I'm moving on. I would want to regain our friendship."
"So, wait. You and Derek?"
"No. I called him so we could hang out."
"Oh, okay. Well, I'll see you later. Goodbye, Emily."
"Goodbye. Hotch."

Just leave your memory on the shelf.
See, I'm fine.
I don't need nobody else.

Hotch left her apartment. Emily was happy everything turned out alright. She went back to the couch. She sat next to Morgan and they continued watching the movie they were watching before Hotch came over.

That's all I can do until I forget about you.
