Ok, don't shoot me because I haven't added anymore stories till now. I've been swamped with art projects left and right. Anyways, I've always wanted to try something depressing so here goes.

I DON'T OWN NARUTO!

"Neji?" She whispered.

"Yes, I'm right here." I whispered back.

"I can't see you." Her unfocused eyes sightlessly searched for my face.

"Shh... shh, it'll be alright. Just lie still. You'll be fine in a few minutes" I could feel my tears, hot against my face, making their way down to her hand held against my cheek.

"Don't…" her breathing was growing ragged, "don't…baby…me." Her voice was so soft I had to bend my ear to her mouth to hear her words. "Neji… I want… I wa..." she paused taking in as much air as her body would let her, " Neji…. I … want you…to know…"

"Shh, you shouldn't speak."

"No… before it's … too late. Neji… I lo… I love… you."

"Oh Tenten, I love you too. I always have." I ran the back of my fingers down her face before bending over to give her a small kiss. I looked back to Lee who was pumping green chakra into her as fast as he could. "Lee, please hurry."

"I am going as fast as I can. There is only so much I can do. I am not as well versed as Sakura-chan is."

"But you took lessons from her." I pointed out. I was getting angry in my desperation.

"Not extensively." He gave me an apologetic look. I could clearly see the tracks on his face where the tears were repeatedly flowing. I looked back to Tenten to find her eyes closed.

"Tenten!" I yelled. "Tenten wake up!" I shifted till her head was cradled in my lap. "Tenten open your eyes!" After a minute of coaxing her eyelids fluttered slightly. I frantically tried to get her to look at me. I couldn't loose her now. Our relationship had barely begun. Why would fate take her from me now, when I had just begun to be happy? It was so unfair.

"Neji… I'm … so cold." I took her hand again. It felt as if she had been out playing in the snow without gloves. "Hold … me." I lifted her as gently as I could to lay her head against the crook of my arm. I looked back to Lee once more.

"Isn't there anything else you can do?" I sobbed. I couldn't hold them back anymore. I was about to loose the love of my life. I knew that in the next few moments, she would be no more.

"I'm sorry. She's losing too much blood, and I'm getting too weak from too much chakra use… I can't stop the blood flow." The last was ended in a sob of his own.

"Neji.." She was desperately trying to catch a breath that wouldn't come. "I'll.." Gasp, "Miss," gasp, "You." With this I watched as she exhaled. Her once brilliant, chocolate brown eyes then turned to dull lifeless shells. Her soul had finally departed this world and onto the next. The pain hit hard and fast making me double over her body. Unknowingly among my sobs I started muttering.

"Tenten, come back. Please" I begged. "I need you! Tenten!" I started screaming. As sobs pulsed and racked my body. My voice grew louder till all I could do was scream her name over and over again. I buried my face into the upper part of her chest and let the grief wash over me. My friend… My love… My Tenten, was gone.

(Wipes tears off her face) So yeah I actually cried while I wrote this. Please don't hate me for this. It's been in my head for a while now. Please Review, Thank you!
