I still remember his arms around me. I still remember the warmth in his smile. I still remember the laughter we shared I still remember how he looked at me. I still remember the sadness on that day. I still remember the tears I didn't cry. I still remember when he left me. I still remember the year that followed. I still remember the fear of that night. I still remember when we were told. I still remember the grief at his death. I still remember my life that followed. The one that should have been with him. And now as I lie, dying, here I still remember the boy who lived.
