Tom was a big gray cat and Jerry was a little brown mouse.
Together they lived in a big house with Mr. and Mrs.
Tom always chased Jerry. Jerry would run,run,run.
One day though Jerry ran behind Mrs. favorite vase. Tom didn't look where he was going and ran right into it.
"CRASH"
The vase fell straight down and broke.
"Oh, no!" cried Mr. and Mrs. when they saw what Tom had done.
"Bad, bad kitty." they said. Jerry felt bad he didn't want to get Tom into trouble.
Mr. and Mrs. sent Tom outside. "Tom, you stay outside and think about what you've done."
Tom went outside, he felt really bad.
Jerry decided to help Tom. So he tried to tape the vase all back together.
It took him a long time, but he finally got the vase back together.
Then Jerry went and got Mrs.
"Oh,my!" she exclaimed. Mrs. was really happy.
Mr. and Mrs. let Tom back inside.
Tom was happy that Jerry helped him, so he gave Jerry a hug.
