Best Friend
Ok, I was at collage and- don't even ASK how I got ANY inspiration there- but I was in French, and some ideas suddenly came to me!
This is only a one-shot :D A really short one shot lol
He was her best friend. It was as simple as that; short and sweet. She admired him for his courage and strength, and that sort of sense of hope when things were getting difficult. In his own way, Natsu was sweet, and she wouldn't have him any other way. He was her childish, stupid and sweet best friend, and that was how it was going to stay.
The only thing should would change was how he almost every night crept in HER bed.
It was the early hours of the morning when an idea popped into her head. Lucy grinned evilly and carefully rolled over onto her knees and opened the draw that was attached to a mirror, and pulled out a black marker. Lucy cackled quietly and pulled herself back; positioning herself over him with one hand beside his shoulder
He looked innocent when he slept, not like the destructive idiot she knew the best, which surprised her because she honestly thought he would even be fighting in his sleep somehow.
Lucy carefully brought the marker over the top of his lips and started her little design with an evil laugh. A moustache. Ohh yeaaahh…
Lucy mentally cheered and covered her mouth to smother her giggles.
He groaned.
Lucy shrieked in panic as quietly as she could and leapt over to her side and drew the covers over her and buried her head in the pillow. Breathe Lucy….breeaatttthhee…
"Luce?" He called out her name groggily, and she felt him turn toward her. Somehow, she didn't feel safe pretending to be asleep. "What the hell is a marker doing-?" And now, she really didn't feel safe.
Natsu grinned devilishly and effortlessly jumped over to her side and brought the marker to her face…closer…cllooossseerrrr…!
"KYYYYYYYAAAAA! GET OFF ME YOU DUMMY IDIOT!" She kicked him harshly out of her window and panted at the scream that followed after him. "DON'T SNEAK INTO MY BED, YOU PERV!" She slammed her window shut and collapsed back onto her bed.
"See you in the guild then, Luce!"
Lucy smirked. "Yeah, yeah, moustache."
