This is a true-life scenario. I tried to make it funny, but I'm really grieving over here (NOT). YES, I KNOW Heero doesn't come with the Tallgeese III action figure. I just was going to paint him after I finished with Tallgeese. Me bad parent. Me never have kids, I guess . . .

The Death of Tallgeese III

Tallgeese III was having a fairly quiet day until late in the afternoon. Something incredibly huge, perhaps twenty times larger than himself was stomping around, muttering in a strange language and moving large, box-like objects {Boxes}. Tallgeese recognized its name.

Tallgeese, for some reason not under its own willpower, Tallgeese took off. With the strange sensation of being gripped around the mid-section armor, he tried to enjoy the new scenery. See, for weeks Tallgeese had been sitting on a hard, black surface next to several other Gundams. It was better than being inside a cargo container, but the occasional change in view was certainly nice.

Little Heero, in the monster's other fist, rolled his unpainted plastic eyeballs. 1/144 Gundam Wing HG-Action Figure Models could be so stupid. He likened them to Buzz Lightyear in the beginning of the Toy Story movie.

Tallgeese was set down and the "monster" said in a completely unintelligible language, "I can't believe I'm finally getting around to painting this." (All Gundam Wing figures, naturally, only speak Japanese. That is, unless they came in the "ENGLISH INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED!!" package.)

Another monster, about the same height but with an odd gait, wandered into view, babbling. Tallgeese felt something cold and wet against his tail-armor. Am I finally being colorized? he thought (in Japanese).

Little Heero rolled his eyes again as he was stood up. A "color guide" was laid next to him. "Okay, I guess I won't have to undercoat him, too," said ItsumademoOtaku after concluding the paint she was using worked on him. She washed Little Heero off and stood him on a nearby convenient counter. She then gathered the sports' section of the Sunday newspaper, a can of spray-paint designed for models, and Tallgeese III, and took them outside.

"Don't forget +ItsumademoOtaku's friend+'s model out there," ItsuamdemoOtaku's mother warned them at dinner. "The puppydogs might get it."

"I'll get it," ItsumademoOtaku sighed. "Later. Let me finish eating, huh?"

Outside, it was unseasonably warm. Tallgeese was quite enjoying the evening, although the "paint" was a little itchy. The sky was a very attractive cyan blue color. Something white and brown and black and really quite ugly appeared in front of Tallgeese. It was wondering what the hell the blotchy thing was when something quite sharp snatched him from the table.

As ItsumademoOtaku's parents were painting the house, the dogs had not yet been in the house that day, they were decidedly quite hungry. She went outside to gather Tallgeese, and discovered the sad remains. The white armor lay in the grass like bleached bones. There was a toothmark all the way through the shield. +ItsumademoOtaku's friend+ sadly counted the remains and found nothing missing but a few gray connecters. It was like dissecting an owl pellet.

"I'll pay you for it," ItsumademoOtaku said. "I'm so sorry, this is all my fault."

ItsumademoOtaku's dogs rolled over to express their extreme guilt by wanting to be petted some more.

"Nah, it's okay," +ItsumademoOtaku's friend+ said. "So, what am I gonna do with it now?"

Heero snickered. "Have a funeral!" he squeaked.
