Okay, so this is basically my story, A sweet Beginning, except from sakura's POV. Don't ask me why, but I felt I needed to do this.
Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto or any of its characters
She had finally giving up on the other playgrounds in her village. She knew nothing would change if she just kept going back again and again like she had been. That is why she was here, at this empty, devoid place. Because she knew they wouldn't come here, and then she wouldn't have to deal with their taunting everyday if she was.
She was just sitting there, not even bothering to lightly rock herself like before. She had her head down, lost in thought about how far away this park was from her home, and how if her mother found out she came here instead of the other park, she would be furious with her.
She had been so occupied in her pondering that she hadn't noticed the light footsteps that made their way over to the front of her.
"Hey."
Her eyes flew open, and she slowly lifted her head to meet the piercing black eyes upon the face in front of her. She was paralyzed with fear, wondering why they would bother her here. She didn't recognize this boy as on of the bullies, who had hurt her before, but after all she'd been through, it was what she assumed automatically.
"You're on my swing." She winced internally at hearing his cold harsh voice, just wanting to dissapeer, but she could see he was becoming irritated with her, so she responded with the first thing she could thing of.
"You live at the academy?" She lightly questioned, squirming under his never moving gaze, and trying to thing of a way out of the situation, without giving him a reason to tease her.
"No."
"Well then how are you sure it's yours?" she mentally slapped herself.
"Nobody except me uses it."
"Oh… I see." Hearing this made her sad. It meant that the boy came to this empty, lonely park all by himself a lot. She was going to continue to converse with this stranger on the topic, but knew better. She slumped her shoulders and got up off the swing, lowering her head, and trudging away gracefully.
"Wait!"
She paused, having not seen that coming.
"You can use it, there are a lot more swings here for me, stay." His voiced sounded slightly panicked. She slowly turned around, not bothering to hide the shock on her face, amazed and confused as to why he didn't want her to leave.
'Maybe he's nice.' She thought, her surprised expression slowly transforming into a smile. She quietly walked back over to the swing, hopping onto it, as he took the one beside her.
She looked at the ground with a slight blush on her face, swinging her legs back and fourth. She wouldn't dare look up at him. She could feel is gaze boring into her side, wondering why he would be watching her.
"I'm Sasuke."
She turned her head to look at him. 'What a cool name.' she thought before breaking into another smile.
"I'm Sakura."
How was it? I personally liked the original version better, but that's only because it was in sasuke's POV. If anyone who reads this likes it, please read my other story 'A sweet beginning', which is this in sasuke's POV.
Please R&R, weather you liked it or not, all responses are appreciated!
