The Stockholm Cycle

A/N: Hey everybody! So... I've grown quite a little collection of Giroro/Natsumi drabbles, huh? For simplicity's sake, I've decided to start a collection for them. So, over the next few days, my short GiroNartsu stories will be compiled into here and, as well, I hope to add brand new GiroNatsu fics to this collection in the near future. I hope you enjoy (or continue to enjoy?) my fics! Of course though, critique is always welcome.

P.S. If anybody is confused by the title (not surprising), the idea came from Giroro being a prisoner of war to the Hinata household, but likewise Natsumi being a member of a race Giroro hopes to conquer. It reminded me of some kinda really weird, two way version of Stockholm Syndrome, plus it sounded really cool.

Duty

"I volunteer."

"Again?" Kululu raised a weary eyebrow. "This makes a full week. Every night you volunteer for the graveyard shift of surveillance duty. Don't you have weapons to polish?"

"I can do both, can't I? A real warrior is ready for duty at any hour. Besides, at this time of night Dororo's home, Keroro is sleeping, and Tamama has suffered a sugar crash."

"Oh yeah, I could get Sargent to come do his job for once, couldn't I? Or I could go a few more hours. It's not like I have anywhere to be besides the computer."

"Just shut up and step aside so I can do my job." Giroro didn't wait to be listened to before stepping around Kululu and to the doors of the command room. The sound of the door wooshing open was drowned out by a reply.

"What's the problem? Worried you won't get to watch that girl sleeping for one day?"

Giroro twitched. "Don't be stupid. We have a mission tomorrow, so see you then."

The doors slid shut between them without another word, but it didn't stop Kululu from emanating his signature laugh as he walked off.
