The Real Alec
It's only in times like these that she can see the best in him, the man behind the mask of what Manticore made him. He's quiet in a way he never is when they're with other people. He's kind, considerate and willing to listen, all those things she thinks he lacks when they're down there in the world.
She thinks this might be the real Alec or, at least, the one he's learning how to be. But this one is vulnerable, unsure of himself, and Alec hasn't learned how to balance the two and so until he has, she will only see him when they're here on top of the Space Needle, away from the world.
