The Dino Rangers enter Hayley's Café. It is open mike night; Kira opens with one of her original songs. Tommy asks his old friend who is also the owner of the café if he could have a turn at the mike.
"Why do you want to sing? I've never heard you sing," Hayley remarks shocked that Tommy of all people wanted to sing.
"I need to sing is that so hard to understand?" Tommy questions his friend.
"No I guess not. What would you like to sing?"
Tommy carefully leans over the counter and whispers something. Hayley has to stifle back a laugh.
"Okay if that's what you want to sing I'll get the music for you."
Tommy walks onto stage and pulls the mike out of the stand and takes a sit.
"What is Dr. O doing?" Conner asks his former team mates.
"Don't know," was all they could reply before Tommy interrupts them.
"This song goes out to an old girlfriend who broke my heart through a letter," He says into the mike.
The music begins to play. Kira's jaw drops as she recognizes the song.
"Guys I can't believe he is singing a song that will make everyone laugh."

Kira, Conner and Ethan busted out laughing. Tommy returned to the gang.
"What's so funny?"
"That was awful dude," Conner says through laughs.
"I
can't believe how bad that was," Kira remarks.
"First off
what did I say about you calling me dude and okay yeah it was bad but
I had wanted to do that for a while," Tommy says laughing along
with his former students.
Hayley is in the back room laughing her head off. She had never heard Tommy sing and yet that was awful. Trent knocks on the door.
"You okay Hayley?"
"Yeah Trent just have never heard him sing before. He never sang in college," Hayley explains.
"Oh okay," Trent says like he's never seen her laugh like that before.
The whole place was laughing. Tommy walks out not noticing that Kira was walking beside him.
"What's wrong Dr. O?" Kira inquires.
"That was about a girl who I used to date. I needed to do that because I couldn't stand it anymore I needed to get my feelings out about her and I heard this song and felt it was perfect. I changed the words because everyone was telling us how great we were together then she broke my heart," Tommy explains trying to hold back the tears that he wanted to release.
Kira sees this and just hugs her former teacher without second thought.
"Thanks Kira," He says, with a smiles, "Sometimes it's good to have a friend with a good head on her shoulders."
"We all are here for you," Conner says startling Tommy.
"Thanks guys."
