Summary: Shun thinks about Yuta and the future for them all.

Shun knows that Yuta thinks he doesn't know, which makes his head hurt just thinking about it, but he does it anyway.

He's seen the way the older twin looks at him when he thinks no-one is watching - usually when Chizuru is acting up, doing something strange and crazy as usual, which makes Kaname bitch at him about "growing up" and Yuki offer some underhand comment that goes over Chizuru's head.

It's a look that Shun has spent a lot of time analyzing in his head. Of course, he knows that they all think he's a bit of an airhead, and he is – most of the time. He uses the excuse of still being in school to get away with it. From experience, thinking causes too many problems.

Like this one.

When Yuta takes up his suggestion of joining the tea ceremony club, Shun is so excited that he spends the first meeting just grinning at him, which makes Yuki ask him if everything is ok. He just nods, smiles and says nothing. When they're all together, Shun will usually sit next to him, just a little closer than he would with anyone else. At first, he did it without thinking – now he does it on purpose. When Yuta brushes his hair, he thinks he could sit there all day letting him do it. It makes him feel safe and happy and, he thinks, nothing that does that can be wrong.

He thinks of the future as well, sometimes. What would happen to them all when school finished, when they went to college or got jobs, when they moved away as he knew they would. Kaname would be the first to go, and then Chizuru, then it would just be the three of them left. He doesn't like thinking about them splitting up – it makes him sad – but he knows it will happen, one day.

But he also knows that he won't leave Yuta - not unless Yuta wants him to leave. And something makes him believe he doesn't.
