I'LL FIRE THEM. BY ISHOTSHERLOCK.
A/N: disclaimer: Nope last time i checked i did not own anything to do with CSI or its crew, except for a lot of books and DVD's.
A/N 2: This is not beta'd so all mistakes are mine.
The night shift CSI's were all sitting around in the break room waiting for the end of a very boring shift. Warrick, Nick and Greg were on one of the couches playing the latest racing game on the new playstation, they had all chipped in for. Catherine was sat at the table reading a romance novel that had been recomended to her. Opposite her was Conrad Ecklie, who was covering as supervisor while Gil Grissom was on sabaticle.
Ecklie was reading the paper. A few minutes later Ecklie slammed the paper on to the table, making everyone jump and look at him. "I'LL FIRE THEM, HOW COULD THEY DO THAT, THEY WENT TOO FAR THIS TIME". He shouted and stormed out of the room.
Catherine was the first to recover, she reached over and pulled the paper across the table. She looked at the page and immediatly saw what had got Ecklie so mad. By this time the boys had joined her at the table and were peering over her shoulder at the paper. They were all speachless.
On the page they were all looking at was a pitchure of a happy couple with a small baby. The article read "Yesterday saw the birth of baby Charlotte Louise Alexandra Grissom. Charlotte and her parents, Dr Gilbert Grissom and his wife Sara Grissom, who are both Crime Scene Investigators in Las Vegas, Are very happy and doing well. Sara Grissom, who while pregnant, was kidnapped late last year by the miniture serial killer, is said to be resting comfortable withher family. All the people at this paper and everyone at the San Francisco Crime lab, where Sara went into labour, wish them the best of luck with their new baby".
"Well that explains why Gil took a three month sabaticle" Catherine said to the men around her, They all laughed as they each reached for their mobile phones.
THE END.
A/N 3: Well what did you think, was it ok, please let me know if i should keep posting or not.
