Death…that one word lingered in Shadow's mind, pestering him like a fly what's just been breeding its beloved's in your ear.
Everyone was dead….even…him...there was still one particular hedgehog who was with Shadow, but that's only because he lived in this time…..this world…
"Are you alright?" A soft smoothing voice whispered.
Shadow caught a glimpse at the young mobian then looked back at the now falling sun…or the planet made out of dying stars (Got to be scientific lol)
"Yeah... why wouldn't I be?
The young silver hedgehog was discombobulated with the feedback. "W-well I just wanted to make sure….since everything you've been through…."
"Hmph"
-FLASHBACK-
It was just another warm sunny day in Mobius, trees brushed the air and the leaves greeted the earth, birds tweeted to their young ones with a tasty worm.
Are friendly benevolent hero was just relaxing under a tree, enjoying the breeze.
"Why can't all days be like this?" The blue spiky teenager asked himself.
A sudden explosion grabbed Sonics attention, who could be ruining this delightful moment?
Sonic just thought it was another Eggman scheme….how wrong he was…
The whole of Mobius stared to tip downwards and plunge into the earth.
"The hell?" Sonic whispered to himself.
The rest of Sonics "Group" were standing next to Sonic in a line with confusion and fear.
Amy perked up "W-what's h-happening?"
"Mobius is falling down to earth" Tails said pointing at the edge of the now falling planet.
"I know that! But why is it failing?" Amy said shaking as sweat poured down her smooth baby like face.
Silver asked Sonic "Ever heard of the 1st ranked demons?
Sonic looked slightly ajar "N-no why?"
Shadow smirked "This is there doing…."
Knuckles asked "Who are they?"
Silver replied with a slight smile "They control the whole of space and make planets like this….but sometimes they get bored of them and throw them away….like now…."
Sonic looked shocked.
Shadow looked to the side "Also known as Terios, Needlemouse and Venice"
A fire started brewing and came closer to the gang and Sonic.
Sonic shook in fear and turned to Shadow and Silver "Aren't you worried?" (Ten million virtual cookies for the person who knows what game that lines from it's my favourite game )
Shadow just frowned and pouted "Why should WE be?"
Silver smiled "After all Shadow is immortal and I don't live in this time….."
The fire grew very close, Shadow and Silver just walked away, they heard shouting from Sonic.
"SILVER! SHADOW! DON'T LEAVE US STAY WITH US!"
Silver smiled "He wants us to die with him….."
Shadow just shivered "Pitiful"

Silver turned around and started to cry "I-I'm sorry….Forgive us….."
The hero burned in the blazing hot flames and was skewered in them with everyone else.
The whole of Mobius plunged towards the earth in rocks and dust.
-END OF FLASHBACK-
Shadow gazed at the city of Westopolis and stood up, he turned and faced Silver.
"Let's go…..I'm bored…"
Silver smiled "Sure….."
Little did they know that a certain "somebody" was watching the two.
