She was glad to see him again. It's been months since she last saw the boy she loved. She may have not known it at the time he left, but she loved him dearly but couldn't confess to him in time. Now that he was back, she had a mission ahead of her. Telling him how she felt. She tried telling him when he was by her house, eating cake and drinking tea, but was interrupted by Kero Chan, and then again by her brother during dinner. She was mat them for that, because both were good opportunities to tell him how she felt. Nevertheless, she remained optimistic. The next day, the group went to the new amusement park to hang out. Unbeknownst to Sakura, Meiling was devising a plan, to have her and Shaoran be alone together so she could confess. When they finished one of the attractions, they paced around the park drinking juice, and they looked for something else to do. Then, Meiling took action.
"Alright." She said and turned around.
"We'll go on that thing!" she said and pointed at the object that lay ahead.
"A ferries wheel." Pointed out Tomoyo.
"I want to share a booth with Tomoyo. So that means you'll have to share a booth with Shaoran, Sakura," said Meiling, and Sakura could feel her face heat up. The two girls boarded first and after them boarded Sakura and Shaoran. They sat opposite each other in a nervous silence. Shaoran was looking out the window, while Sakura was gazing at her feet shyly. When they were about to reach the top, her heart gave her mouth the order to speak, before her brain, and subconscious could overrule it.
"Shaoran…" she began.
"What is it?" he asked and Sakura grew tense.
"Honestly… honestly… about my feeling towards you… I… I…"
Right before she could admit her feelings to him, her mind caught up, realized what she was doing, and resized control of her mouth, and the words were stuck in her throat. Sakura gulped and sighed a bit. She then took a big breath of air and tried again.
"Honestly… honestly Shaoran…. I…. I…" realizing the moment was imminent, she brought her eyes upward to meet his, in order to take the giant step.
"Truth is… I love you Shaoran. I really do…" she said and continued to look him the eyes. It took every fiber of being not to look away but she managed to keep eye contact. To her joy, Shaoran's lips formed into a smile.
"I love you too…," he said with a smile.
"Sakura." he added. Overcome with joy and immense relief, Sakura got on her feet and brought him into a warm hug and he rocked her in his arms. After a short pause, they separated and peered into each other's eyes, slowly pulling forward. As soon as their lips touched, they could feel themselves melt, yet shiver with emotions of happiness, warmth and exhilaration, as their legs became like jelly. Wanting to savoir the moment, Sakura wrapped her arms around hey new boyfriend's neck as he wrapped his around her waist. Finally, they parted for some air and Sakura rested her head in his chest and embrace with a sigh.
"I'm glad I told you Shaoran…," she said happily, as her arms were wrapped around his shoulders.
"So am I, so am I…" he said happily, as he rested his head on hers while holding her in his arms, as the wheel continued to roll skyward and their hearts soared along with it…
