Ever had one of those times where you are so upset that you can't stay sitting? Yes? They suck don't they? That's how I got lost after everything happened.

It was a normal day just like any, sort of. I got up, showered, dressed. All after I awoke to him not being there. He's always there. How come today had to be the day? Did he go hunting with Emmet or Jasper? Rosalie? Alice? Carlisle? Esme? He'd been acting awfully weird all week. Was it something I did? Something I said?

I had all these questions and no answers. Trying to push past these horrible thoughts I went downstairs just in time to say goodbye to Charlie as he left for work at the police station. After the door closed behind him I went to the kitchen and dug around in the pantry after turning on the radio. The song ended and another started:

I waited for you today
But you didn't show
No, no, no
I needed You today
So where did You go?
You told me to call
Said You'd be there
And though I haven't seen You
Are You still there?

"Oh great just a song I don't want to hear. It has everything to do with me and Edward" I said annoyed. But I continued to listen:

I cried out with no reply
And I can't feel You by my side
So I'll hold tight to what I know
You're here and I'm never alone

"Yeah never alone my foot I'm alone now…" I said rudely but still listened:

And though I cannot see You
And I can't explain why
Such a deep, deep reassurance
You've placed in my life

"I can see him that's the thing but he's not here now…"

We cannot separate
'Cause You're part of me
And though You're invisible
I'll trust the unseen

"Psh… trust the unseen whatever," I said finishing my cereal flipped off the radio and walked out of the house my book bag slung over one shoulder my jacket on the opposite arm and keys in hand. I closed the door locked the deadbolt and made my way down the gravel walk to my ancient truck that awaited me.

I opened the door threw my jacket ad book bag in the passenger seat and stuck the key in the ignition. It took a few tries to get the engine to catch but as soon as it did my truck roared to life and I backed out of the driveway. I drove down the narrow roads towards Forks high school. As I turned into the parking lot I tried my hardest not to search for that silver Volvo but failed. My chocolate brown eyes scanned the parking lot. I saw Rosalie's red convertible and Alice's yellow Porsche, but not a single silver Volvo. "Arg…" I yelled slamming my fist against the steering wheel. I climbed put of the car slinging my bag over one arm and slamming the door to my truck with another and headed off to English.
