Just a story I wrote today :)

((WARNING!!! CONTAINS NARUTO CH. 393, 394 SPOILERS!!!!))

The speaker can be up to interpretation, but it was meant to be Kisame talking about Itachi after he died. I thought the story ended out being really sweet :)

Disclaimer: If I owned Naruto, it would not be nearly as cool as it is XD

I buried him under a tree.

It was a large tree, a Beech tree.

If he was still alive, he would think the tree, even though he would never admit it, was beautiful.

I buried him where he would always be shaded from the sun that always caused his eyes discomfort when we used to go on missions together.

He would never admit it, but I could tell.

I buried him where he would never be disturbed during his eternal slumber.

He needed to catch up on his sleep.

When we used to go on missions together, I could tell he had trouble sleeping the night before.

He would never admit it, but I could tell.

I buried him where I could just sit there with him and watch the clouds pass above us.

He never talked much, so I sometimes forget he isn't there.

He never talked much, so it seems just like the old days when he was alive.

He never talked much, but, though he would never admit it, I could tell we were friends.

He never talked much, but he was the one person I could trust, the one person I was close to.

I visit the tree often, every chance I get.

Every time I visit, in one of the low branches, there is a small crow.

It's always the same black crow with those same red eyes.

I hope you enjoyed it :)
