Hello everyone, I hope u like my story it's about Dracula in the medieval times but it's not with any vampires or anything but it's with a prince that studied martial arts and can fight well.

Vlad Dracula, named after his father, woke up sweating from the heat of the room. There room was pitch black, and the prince wiped his brow. Suddenly, a low shuffle scratched against the floor out of his bed chamber. Silently, he pushed himself to his feet and opened a crevice in the door. The hall was dark, but empty, and Dracula sighed.

A low grumble sounded from his stomach, and Dracula nearly jumped in shock. A second growl came, and the prince headed for the kitchen to get some bread to fill it for the night. As he chewed vigorously into the warm snack, Dracula headed through the empty hall once again. Stumbling in the darkness, he reached his room, the sound he heard earlier sounded again. Snapping into alert, Vlad stood still for a moment, searching for the cause of the noise. The noise turned out to be two muffled voices of strangers.

Curious to the visitor, Vlad walked quickly towards the noise until it became clear. The door he stopped at was his father's bed chamber, the largest door in the castle. With caution, Vlad opened the door and saw two figures, one with a knife at his throat, looming over his father, sound asleep in his bed.

Without a sound or thought, Vlad raced to one of the assassins and jammed his head into the nearby wall, knocking him senseless. While the hurt assassin was recovering, Dracula immediately headed for the other one. Dodging a few punches from the enemy, Dracula sidestepped and turned around, giving him full advantage to attack the unguarded assassin. His palm struck the assassin in the chest, and knocked him back into the wall.

The first attacker was barely conscious, and a deep crack ran down the back of his head, blood flowing freely from the large wound. With some sympathy, Dracula ended the wounded assassin's life with a quick hit to the pressure point. The body fell to the floor, a puddle of blood all around him. Vlad finished his work and smashed the skull of the second assassin, instantly ended his life.

Suddenly, a light flashed on, and Vlad saw his father, also named Vlad, with a lantern, a shocked expression enveloping his face.

"What's going on, Vlad?" he asked hoarsely. Vlad, blood covered, still felt proud as he replied.

"An assassin tried to end your life, father," he replied. The elder Vlad smiled.

"You are a good boy, saving my life again. What would I do without you?"

"You'd be dead," finished Vlad, and the two laughed whole heartedly.
