Sookie was raised by Niall and her fae family, she's friends with Claudette and one day Sookie decides to go visit Bon Temps through the portal in the woods. She's attacked by a vampire (Bill, I think). Sometime later she meets Eric while he's glamouring Jason who's a vampire hater. Sookie is a virgin and asks Eric to have sex with her, they get together and there's a moment where Pam and Claudette become girlfriends too. Later Niall forces Sookie to stay in Faery and she finds out she's pregnant with Eric's child. I'm not sure this is the correct order of events.
PS: Sookie knows nothing about human technology and amazed by normal things like appliances. Jason and Cataliades have to teach her everything about the human world
