A/N: This is just a short one-shot about why Bella hates shopping. No offense to any teenage drivers. This actually happened to me when I was 10 years old.

On with the story!
Bella POV
Once again, I was heading to the Cullen Mansion. Edward drove me there in his Volvo. We were there in a matter of minutes.
Alice came over to me and she hugged me like she hadn't seen me for a month or so.
"Bella, there's this new sale in Port Angeles this weekend and-" I cut her off. That explains the death grip hug.
"Alice, I'm not going this time. We just went shopping last weekend!"
"Why don't you like shopping?" asked Rosalie. She and I had become closer, since I agreed to wait until after college to be changed.
"Why don't we get everyone else in the living room and then I'll explain. Everyone will probably want to hear it anyway," I said.
Just then, everyone was joined in the living room.
"What did you need to tell us, Bella?" Carlisle asked.
"Well, I thought I should go ahead and tell you all about how my hate for shopping came to be. Rose asked me about it and I thought that I should tell you all at once," I told them.
Edward squeezed my hand and gave me the cue to start. I closed my eyes and relived that fateful moment…
**Flashback to when Bella is 10 years old**
My mommy and I have been shopping for groceries. It's kinda boring, but my mom says that I'm a big help. I can't wait to get home so I can play! Hmmm… I wonder what I'll play.
My mommy and I went back to the car with the shopping cart and I held the cart still so she could put the bags and bags of groceries into the trunk of the car. When she was done she and I walked together so I could take the cart back. I waited for a few cars to pass and an old man stopped so I could pass.
I started to go across the street when a teen-aged lady went around the old man. She almost ran me over and I stopped dead in my tracks. She stopped and her tires made a screeching sound. I went across the street and put the cart away. My mom came running across the street pulled me into a warm embrace.
"Bella, baby, are you okay?" She asked me. I told her I was fine and we went home.
**End Flashback**
"So, that's why I hate shopping. All because of a teenaged girl who almost ran me over," I said. I never went shopping against my will ever again.
