Not your usual couple, and most likely the first fan fiction of it ever.
HEROIC TEMPTATIONS, VILLAIN CONFESSIONS
Starfire was caught up into the passionate and deep kiss she was engulfed in.
"We're supposed to say goodbye and hour ago, child." He gently reminded her as if she were his hostage, making the hair on the back of her neck rise and tremble.
Starfire had grown older. Now a twenty two year old and she still held the Titans together like glue. They all thought they could read her like a book, like she was still as innocent as she was when they found her.
They were wrong.
The man pushed his mask back into place upon his head, the unforgiving metal covering his once shadowed face.
He than embraced her into another hug, each not speaking, yet all well knowing about the tense emotions that brought them for even being three feet within each other.
She had been kidnapped many a time. First, he knew ways of making her strength and starbolts useless. One time he put her into a coma. And the last most recent was that he made her so weak she couldn't't even walk.
Though both didn't mind on how close he was holding her until the precious Teen Titans came to save their captured friend.
Now she was seeing him on her own freewill. Some days they would just sit by each other, enjoying the intense situation they frequently found themselves drowning in. The next, she was pushed up against the wall as armor and spandex covered the floor and each vigorously were trying to outwit the other.
Though he called her Child when he was only five years older than her, she felt like he was threatening her and loving her at the same time.
How they came to be was only known by pure miracle. Villain and hero soon turned into power and weakness. Threats and flirtations...and love and lust.
Each knew the rules of their game.
When they fought against each other, it was the real deal. Blood and bruises were the ideal of injuring the other to protect what they thought was most important at the time.
When they were not...it was tending those very wounds they had violently given each other.
He ended the kiss with the sliding down of the metal mask. The bronze and black shining at her as he now held her close.
She wouldn't hear of it.
She was pulling his mask up and away from his face and kissing him more forcefully than when they had began.
He didn't seem to mind.
Slade paused as to whisper to her neck "I love you, Child, but don't think I will hesitate to kill you in our next battle."
Two words: Flames exepted.
