Our favorite carrot-top woke up to the singing of birds and the glory of the morning sunshine. Ichigo growled and hid to the safety of his blankets but to no avail as the sunshine seeped through the thin cloth. He hated the morning because it reminded him of his past: his dad; Aizen; Las Noches High; and most of all, Grimmjow. There was another reason why Ichigo hated this specific morning and that's because today's the day he would transfer to a new school, courtesy of his dad's last wish.

"Ichi-nii!" ,called his younger sister, Karin. His two sisters were the only ones who kept him going. His dad died (A/N: I bet you guys knew that by now) after the big fight in Las Noches High (A/N: I'll explain it some other time.) and his boyfriend, Grimmjow, *gasp* went into a comma after he and Ichigo fought Aizen. He was quite surprised and relieved that his sisters didn't get hurt or get involved in the fight.

Once he did his usual hygienic routines, he went downstairs to eat the scrumptious breakfast that Yuzu prepared for him. He bid goodbye to his sisters and made his way to Seireitei High, one of the most prestigious schools in the country and the rival of Las Noches High.

When he got there, he wasn't surprised by the size of the school ('cause his old school was just as big) but he did marvel at the large amount of colors in the school. Las Noches High (A/N: Sorry for over-usage!) was plain white, nothing except the emptiness of the sickening color white. Once Ichigo realized his flashback he quickly rid his minds of those horrid memories.

Ichigo went in side the lobby, went to the front desk and met a stoic yet obedient girl named Nemu who brought him to the Principal's office. He went inside the office and faced an old man named Captain-Commander Yamamoto. The old man reeked with power and authority, the two things Ichigo hated the most. During his talk with the old man, he gradually liked the old man and the latter started treating him like a grandson. He also learned the causes of this was: his dad was a great help to the academy; he was like the father of his dad making Ichigo his "grandson; he respected Ichigo 'cause he was able to beat Aizen; and he felt pity on the teenage boy who has been through a lot. Normally, Ichigo didn't like being pitied but this time he felt that the Captain-Commander's pity had concern, genuine care and understanding in it. Another thing that Ichigo expected but was still surprised to know was that the school would take care of his family's finances.

After their long talk ,Yamamoto (I'll be calling him this from now in the third person POV) allowed Ichigo to go home and rest. This surprised Ichigo 'cause he taught that he would start school today. Yamamoto then told him that today was just like an orientation. So at the end of the day, a very pissed off Ichigo left the school yet he learned that he has someone to trust.
