It's The Thought That Counts
By Kyoto-chan
A/N: Okay, I'm now officially freaking myself out. Less than a day, and even though I've already updated TTIL, I've been straying a bit...and now, look: I'm making a a Hoennshipping one-shot!
Fiery: ...That's not crazy.
Oh whatever. Anyways, here's my pass towards getting pass those sue-happy lawyers!
Disclaimer: Moof, I don't own Pokemon, and if I did, in the sixth movie, I'd make Brendan be in there a little bit longer than just 'three seconds'.
Alrighty, me will shut up now.

"Hey, Brendan, do you remember that time, this very day, what happened, two years ago?" a certain 15-year old brunette questioned the white-haired trainer sitting beside her.
"No--wait...yes, I do, May." Brendan replied dully, sweat-dropping at the memory.
He shot a ¬¬ look at May, and said, "You can't possibly be thinking about trying that again..."
May giggled a little bit, as when they looked up at the stars from their current position on the hill, they had both had the same flashback at the same time.
Flashback
"May, have you ever wondered what it would be like for someone to kiss you?" asked a thirteen year old Brendan.
"Do you wanna find out?" asked the other thirteen year old trainer.
"I'm just...curious." came the reply.
Before he knew it, May was leaning closer to Brendan, her eyes closed. Brendan was surprised when she knew what she was doing and panicked.
"EEP!" came the cry of May.
Luckily for him, May had leaned in too far, and fell, only to be caught by Brendan.
End Flashback
When their trip on Memory Lane ended, May asked Brendan one question.
"Do you still want to know the answer to your question?" she asked him.
"I'm still curious." Brendan replied.
"Don't worry, there won't be anything going wrong this time." May said.
And at that, May grabbed Brendan's shirt collar and kissed him. Of course, after a few seconds, they parted, and Brendan looked at May again.
"Well, that sure explains it." he said.
May gave him a wink, and said, "You're just lucky the all-popular quote, 'Curiousity killed the cat' didn't apply to you."
Brendan raised an eyebrow and asked, "What's that supposed to mean?"
"Nothing much, but it's the thought that counts!" May answered her best friend.
