A little AUish, but enjoy…

I don't own Hetalia! end/AN/

Denmark watched Iceland totter from one end of the room to the next; he seemed excited with his recent ability to walk, and tended to waddle around with his infant belly sticking out.

Iceland grabbed Puffin with his chubby hands, and pushed his face against him.

Denmark grinned, even as Puffin seemed to complain. That was Iceland's way of kissing; he was too young to pucker, apparently. "That's right, lay one on him, Ice!"

Iceland turned to smile, still clutching Puffin, and then he hurried to kiss the next plushie lying against the wall.

And the next, and the next, until he'd kissed all of his animals.

Denmark loved the fuzzy feeling he got watching Iceland; he was still getting used to having a baby in the house, but it was moments like these that made it all totally worth it to baby proof and watch his language.

Then Iceland leaned over and pressed his face against the front door rug, which had a reindeer imprinted on it.

"No, Ice! Don't do that, that's all germy!" Denmark burst up from his chair, hurrying over to Iceland's side.

Iceland began kissing the rug over and over, apparently liking the picture of the reindeer a lot, or else in defiance of the word 'no.'

"Ice, that's yuck! Yucky, yuck, bleh…" Denmark picked him up, and wondered if the rug had even been vacuumed since Iceland had come to live with them.

It probably hadn't been, if the hairs and dirt sticking to Iceland's mouth were any indication.

"Yuck, Ice…" Denmark wiped at the tot's mouth, which only made Iceland smile at him.

"Dagah…" he said, his name for Denmark, and promptly pressed his filthy little mouth against Denmark's.

Denmark was proud to say he didn't push him away, but he did spit in the umbrella holder. It tasted like salt that went on the driveway. "Ew, Ice… Tell you what, when you start kissing people, come to me first. I'll teach you the right way to do it. Okay?"

Iceland's fingers curled in Denmark's sweatshirt. He babbled as if he understood, digging his other fingers into his ear.

"Yeah, you'll be awesome. No way you'll be single," Denmark promised him. Then he grinned. "Now let's go get some cookies!"

Iceland was very much in agreement.

/AN/ I dunno, I got the idea from my friend telling about her family's baby doing this. Very kissy child, the sweetheart. I hope you enjoyed this tiny little oneshot!
