The sound of his feet kept him moving. Zach's feet moved in such a lethargic way he could count the seconds between each step, count how many cracks he had stepped over in the last minute, and he could count how many seconds he couldn't feel them. He forgot he was walking after a while, the mussels used to move his legs had gone numb. Not from exhaustion, but rather from his incoherent state. He wasn't even paying attention to where he was walking, or if he had stopped yet. Turns out, he did. There he stood in front of that retched building. Rustboro University, the very building he helped design with his close friend Sweet Pea. After winning his team the title, First Team, and Sweet Pea gaining the title Champion, Zach supported her in her dream of creating a school where all Pokémon could study to become great battlers. It wasn't the school he hated but, the effort he put in to making it. He should find some pride in its creation; he should feel complete after making an award winning academy, right? Wrong. He feels nothing but anger every time he looks at it. Why does he still feel useless? Why does he feel so…so empty?

"Zach!" A rather peppy Flygon yelled as flew down from one of the schools 3rd floor windows.

"Hey Zach, glad I caught 'ya!" He hovered over the ground in front of Zach before dropping his feet to the ground with a thud. Zach answered with an uninterested mumble.

"Haha! Looks like you're in one of your 'moods'! I'll make this short n' sweet. S.P wants to see you in her office, said it important." The Flygon said with a goofy smile. This Flygon was none other than the 5th member of Team Unburden, the very team Zach was the 4th member of. William was his name (he liked to be called Billy or, Billy the Kid, but Zach always called him Willy or, Willy the Kid)and the little cowboy was determine to do his job to the best of his abilities. When he wasn't teaching a Ground or Dragon-type class, he was getting coffees or delivering messages for 'the boss', as he called her.

"Sweety wants to see me, aye?.." Zach answered. "…great." Zach looked up at the large front entrance of the academy and slowly made his way towards it.

Zach was a very lazy Zangoose and didn't care who he kept waiting. So he liked to move at his own sluggish speed.

What could that woman possibly want now?...
