Just a quick bit of fluff before bedtime. Thanks to Singling Violin for inspiration. Has anyone noticed that when Kathryn flies the shuttle it nearly always crashes, or runs into some kind of trouble??

Commander Chakotay of the USS starship Voyager stared down at his captain, unconscious on the biobed.
Voyager had received the distress call from the Delta Flyer less than an hour ago and had sped there warp 7 to find the shuttle drifting above a gas giant with their captain unconscious inside.
She had had massive internal bleeding, a broken arm, concussion and a few broken ribs when the shuttle had been hit by a plasma storm.
The Doctor had treated her injuries and had given her a sedative to help her sleep. She was now laid out on the bed, her uniform still ruined but her injuries healed. Her short auburn hair was fanned out and she looked peaceful.
Chakotay sighed and took her hand.
At his touch Kathryn opened her eyes and looked into his own.
'Chakotay…?' she whispered.
Chakotay leant down next to her, kissed her forehead and said, 'we really shouldn't let you fly shuttles.'
