Look Both Ways Before Crossing the Street...

As class dragged on, Kyon contemplated on his childhood and his years as a toddler...

He remembered seeing a strange girl...glossy, brown eyes, smooth brown hair, beautiful..she was pretty bossy too..

When he was playing at the park was when he first saw that girl. She was actually making other kids dig for her, and she also kept shouting something about reaching hell and some demons or something...Then all the kids started rioting and it turned into an all out frenzy.

He had left the park and that girl's chaos. On his way home he saw that girl once more. She lived right across the street from him actually.

It seemed even as a kid he felt the desire to talk to that girl. Heck, he didn't even know why! She just seemed...erm, different from anyone else.

He went outside on one hot, summer day to go run through the sprinklers, when that girl talked to him for the first time. She was mowing the lawn with a small, kiddie lawnmower.

"Hey you!"

Kyon turned around abruptly, he was soaking wet. He sighed and answered, "Yeah?"

"Want some money???" She taunted as she waved a twenty-dollar bill high in the air. "What for?" He yelled back questionably. "Well, duh, it's not for free! Mow the lawn for me and I'll give it to you stupid!!" She angrily retorted.

Kyon walked forward. He had never crossed the street by himself before, as he was only four years old. So he just ran for it. The street seperating them seemed pretty big too.

As soon as he almost reached the curb, a marathon bicyclist came speeding up the hill. Then it all happened so fast. First he ducked and shielded himself with his arms. Then...

CRASH.

"HEY! Kyon!!! Kyon? Kyon!!!" He found himself awakening inside the S.O.S. Brigade Clubroom to a certain someone. Ahem, Haru -scoff- Hi -scoff- -scoff-.

She reminded him of someone he had just recently been reminded about...but..who? Okay let's see...she has glossy, brown eyes...overly-bossy behavior, an attitude, big ego, brown hair...uh...

NOPE.

Doesn't ring a bell.
