*) Okay, I know some of you may be saying: "Hyo-u-ji sa re-ma-su is actually seven syllables"
But the pronunciation of it is: Hyou-ji sa re-masu (with a short su) and is five syllables. I also write the 'u' instead of just 'ō'...
For those who don't know what a haiku is, it is a poem that consists of 3 lines and 17 syllables (5,7,5). I expected writing a haiku in Japanese would be really tough... but it's actually quite fun and not too difficult! I hope that its subject made some kind of sense to you...
