He left a few years back,
Told all of us to chin up and relax,
We all took to mind,
That yes he may die,
But we all know he had to work this task.
We all kept on going with life,
But one of us could not take this right,
She cried so long,
It felt so wrong,
She was Robin's wife.
He told her that it would be fine,
But she every time would reply,
"You'll never return I know this for sure",
And he said he'd always be with her.
They spent the night together,
During the thundering weather,
Nobody dared to near the room,
Because we all knew he would be leaving soon.
The next day we woke up at 9,
Ran to the kitchen and saw Star cry,
We ran up and saw the crumpled paper near her,
And read it, and silence sliced the air...
Dear Titans,
I have gone away,
For the time to start the war begins today,
I may not return soon,
Possibly not at all,
I just have one thing to say to you all,
You have made me so proud,
So happy and blithe,
And that will make it okay if this is the end of my life.
I know you might cry,
If you hear of my death,
But you all must know,
That I care of you so,
That is why I must fight,
That is why I must shoot,
That is why I must come up front and help the troops.
I am in your hearts,
And you are in mine,
And everything will be perfectly fine,
The sun will still rise,
The stars will still shine,
The birds will still sing,
And the clouds will still fly.
Cyborg, you're a leader,
A born one at that,
So you lead everyone on as best as you can.
Raven, you're amazing,
A wonderful friend to have,
Control your powers; I believe that you can.
Beastboy, you scare me somedays,
But you're a wonderful person in so many ways,
Keep working on and doing your best,
Someday you'll amaze all the rest.
And Starfire, my love,
Don't ever forget,
That you are my angel,
And I will be yours,
Because if I do leave,
I'll watch you soar,
So please do not weep,
Do not feel pain,

It has now been 5 years,
And yet we still cry tears,
But we have to live on,
We can not look back,
Even though he is gone,
Because now we have Zac,
He has just become 4,
He is a sweet little thing,
He has opened new doors,
The joy that he brings.
Star is his mother,
His father has died,
He knows nothing about him,
But is still very happy,
He is a strong young boy...
Just like his daddy.
He fought in the war,
And jumped in front of the shot,
It wasnt meant for him,
But that's what he got,
He was a brave young man,
And he always will be,
Because he lives in our hearts,
For eternity.
So what did you all think? Is it okay? I'm not very good with the story/poems yet, but I'm a good poem WRITER…. -.- you probably don't get that. Nevermind, hahaha.
