I Want Out
Obi-Wan Kenobi walked confidently through the halls of the Jedi Temple. He was dressed in black Jedi robes, with his lightsaber in an ankle holster. He had arranged a meeting with the Council a few days before and now it was his moment to shine. He stepped through the large doors that led into the Jedi Council Chambers. There was a lot of Jedi there, all had a look in their eyes. A look that said they knew what he was going to say.
"I want out," Obi-Wan said plainly to Yoda a.k.a. The Don, "It's getting too hot for me. I am in way too f*&king over my head. I was this f*&king close to getting blasted just the other day. People are getting whacked without permission. It is all chaos. I don't even start my take my speeder out anymore 'cause it might be rigged. I want out."
The Don narrowed his eyebrows, "What are you saying? You can't just f*&king 'get out' of the family. We took you in as an infant, and this is how you f*&king treat us." His voice rose to an angry shout. "I provided you with everything you could ever want and this is how you repay me? I gave you money, speeders, clothes, and women only to have you slap me in the face." He grabbed Obi-Wan's face in his hands and whispered ," You broke my heart. So don't be surprised if I break yours." And with that he slapped Obi-Wan, leaving a crimson mark on his cheek.
A flash went off in Obi-Wan's eyes. "Is that a threat you little piece of sh!t? I could snap you in half." His hand rested on his other lightsaber in it's usual place, in his shoulder holster.
"Ha ha ha ha ha," a deep laugh bellowed from the small creature. "A threat? No Mr. Obi-Wan I assure you that it is not a threat but a promise. The promise is this, bad things will happen to you if you choose to leave this protective circle. Very bad things indeed."
"Then I'll take my chances." Obi-Wan replied. " I refuse to remain intimidated by you." Then he turned and walked away.
Just as he reached the door he heard The Don udder the last words Obi-Wan ever heard spoken from him "Then you are dead to me" And Obi-Wan walked out.
