What she said was all nonsense to him.
What he said was something she never understood.
They never thought on the same level and their relationship was like a roller coaster. Only one thing really remained the same with them. Their feelings for each other.
She leant over the desk and disrupted his thoughts, as she closed most of the space between them.
"Stop teasing me." she said, her hot breath tickling his ear.
He simply smirked and turned his head to face her. Hey eyes locked with his as they stared at each other, not at all uncomfortable.
Of course, they were no ordinary couple, they didn't hold hands, they didn't have awkward conversations; they didn't do any of the things normal couples did.
It was heated, most of their feelings given directly to the other, only to have even stronger feelings returned. They didn't need to talk to know what the other was thinking. They weren't afraid of showing the other just how much they loved them.
Laughter was music to their ears, especially each other's. Their smiles could light up their whole day. Because they both were just like all those in love; foolish, yet unbelievably content.
They were never believed to be right for each other. Everyone told them it wasn't going to work out. But of course, they both were determined to prove them all wrong. And they did exactly that.
"And, why exactly should I?" he replied as a beautiful red adorned her cheeks. He added a grin, which made the red deepen. She almost glared at him as he reached out to hug her but she hugged him back, forgetting most of the past events.
All that matters was that they were together. Just him and her. And no matter what he said that made no sense to her whatsoever, she would love him. No matter what she said to him that he interpreted as simple nonsense, he would still love her.
Life was strange like that, but it didn't matter. What mattered was the fact that they would love each other until the very last second. That was what mattered and that was the only thing they cared about.

Not centered towards any particular pairing, though I was thinking Gold/Crystal or Ruby/Sapphire, maybe Green/Blue but it's really how you interpret it. I mean, it ould have even been Gold/Blue or something like that. Yep, it's free choice for the reader.
