Sherlock sighed as he walked out of Bart's, what had he expected?

He had been back from his supposed 'death' for two months now and Lestrade hadn't been doing so well it seemed.

Without Sherlock, the whole police force seemed to have decomposed.

But still it gave him something to do.

John wasn't all too pleased with his departure for the last two years and had given Sherlock an impressive right hook when he appeared at Baker Street quite definitely alive and every bit as annoying.

He wouldn't tell John where he had been or how he had managed to escape his apparent doom or for that matter why he had done it so in the end John had just stopped asking.

"Tea?" John Inquired as Sherlock finally emerged from his room at one in the afternoon although who could blame him for sleeping for two days? After the case he had just finished, he deserved a medal.

"No thank you, John, I'm off to Bart's. Lestrade texted, there is a body in the morgue for me to inspect"

"Anything interesting?"

"Possibly, a woman was apparently murdered at the same second her husband died from a heart attack"

John just sighed and pretended to not worry about how excited his friend seemed to become over a death.

Sherlock was in a cab on the way to Bart's when a text appeared

Hows life back in baker street? – MH

He smiled to himself as he typed his reply, after spending two years practically living on Molly's couch, they were bound to become friends and much to Sherlock's surprise she wasn't at all as annoying as she appeared when she was stammering at him from across a labrotary in fact she almost served as a replacement for John though he'd never admit it.

They had shared something in those last two years and nothing could change that.

The same as always, Just with a much more comfortable couch – SH

Molly laughed as she received the text.
