The sound of his bedroom door opening wakes Braxiatel up. He lies in bed listening as someone crosses the room.
'Brax?' His brother's voice sounds close by. Braxiatel keeps his eyes shut and pretends to be asleep.
The bed creaks as his brother climbs on. He can feel his brother rubbing up against him, but manages to maintain his facade.
Eventually his brother stops fidgeting and the room falls silent again.
Braxiatel opens an eye and looks at the little figure lying next to him. He suppresses a sigh. His brother was nearly 8 and still acted like such a child.
As dawn breaks, Braxiatel hears his brother get up and leave. No doubt heading back to his own room before anyone woke up.
Braxiatel tells himself that his brother will grow out of it, but he's not sure he believes it.
