Venom versus Samwise Gamgee
-
Just a bit of practice in a different wrting style/format, whichever you choose. See it as a warm up for my next stories.

Unofficial Chorus (in a tree):
A battle of wits between our two characters!
Oh gosh, get me out of here!
Ah! Not the whips!
One good and one bad, but who shall win!
Get that thing away from me!
And not but one shall be the victor!
AH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gandalf giggled maniacally as the chorus fell out of the tree. He giggled twice as hard when the chorus ran away squawking like a duck! "I really shouldn't eat things that I find lying randomly on the ground!" he declared to no one but himself.
The most interesting of fellows came into the scene. It was Wisecrack Mangee, whoever he is! "I say, sir," Wisecrack began, "I say, I say sire!"
Gandalf's interest was immediately peaked by the fact that this man had called him sire.
"I mean, sir," Wisecrack amended. He gave the writer of this story a sharp look. "Stop saying that I am Wisecrack! I am Sir Edward Junior of-Many-Known-Talents!" and he began to speak Russian in an English accent.
"I hate this story!" Venom ripped up the paper. "Let's put a twist on things!" He began to rewrite, this time without any characters that had a mind of their own . . .
Samwise Gamgee was a sissy little Hobbit who liked to skip down the pudding path eating little gumdrop bird droppings and minty flies. He was so sissy that a ridiculously large spider thought to never eat him even if her life depended on it, and Slinker and Stinker locked himself up in a box to never see Sam again.
But then, suddenly, Samwise Gamgee reached out of Venom's page and stole his pencil! Yes! And he then began to write about Venom's horrible life and about how his girlfriend left him for a tiny little man in a pinkish trenchcoat . . .
Venom gritted his teeth. No, no! He thought. It wasn't supposed to be like this!
But it continued, and Venom ran away in fear, never to return until Spiderman 3 came out (which is where he met his happily, exciting end). Therefore Sam won, pun intended.
