Haha first story I ever finish and I'm not sure you could call it a one-shot.

She first saw him at the chunin exams. But of course, we all knew that.

She never noticed that the way her heart beat harder in her chest wasn't due to just fear.

She didn't realize the pain she felt in her chest during the finals wasn't just for Sasuke.

When sand turned against leaf she didn't know the betrayal she felt was just a bit stronger than that of her comrades.

Not once did she see it as the years progressed. One day though…

One day she woke to it all as if she'd been sleeping the entire time.

She never felt the horror until Chiyo brought him back from death's clutches and she was flooded with relief.

She would have cried had she any tears left to shed. Instead she stared on, in shock.

She didn't know her heart, but it knew her.

A heart has, no thought, just pure basic instinct to guide it.

If you want to write something longer based on this just make sure to tell me and to give me some credit(a link would be nice). Thanks!
