The Last Letter

She saw him fall; she saw the light in his eyes dim before her very eyes.
She was frozen as one of his comrades approached her, handing her a sheet of paper.
The poor letter ignored as she watched them carrying him away, off to another world, the one he once wanted her to see.
Now she would never see it with him.

Numbly she looked down at the letter in her lap, her eyes glassy as she picked it up.
Her name was written boldly in elegant green letters, taunting her as the wind tried aid to its escape.

She slowly opened it with shaking hands, unsure of the contests. It read;

Dear Koneko-chan,

Why am I lonely
You're sitting right here
Why am I talking
It's like I'm talking to the air
What am I looking for
That just isn't there
Why am I angry
How'd it get so bad
And why am I missing
What we
Never really had

Tears threatened to fall as her grip tightened, crumpling the paper.

Why don't you love me
The way I love you
Why don't you feel my love for you
As deep as I do
We've got a fundamental difference
In matters of emotion
But sometimes I need to feel you need me
Like a river needs an ocean
Why don't you love me

Her eyes shined with regret, her tears falling onto the paper.

Who am I kidding I'm an Alien you're a Human
It wasn't meant to be
But you wanted a believer
And I needed to believe
For every wall you built around you for that guy
I tried to learn a brand new way to climb
And if I could've been your angel before I died
I would've found a way to fly

She tried wiping her tears as she shook silently.

I don't understand you
What's it take to make you cry for me
And if leaving you doesn't break you
I don't know what will
You only love him

I will die only for you, my life is yours

I will always love you,
From yours truly,
Kisshu

Her sobs were echoed throughout the sleeping city, her hand loosened on the abused sheet and it flew away.
It flew away just like he did.

I've finally rewritten this, I hope you guys like it and it at least makes you tear up on the inside.
It's not very canon I know, but in my opinion, it's more realistic that Kisshu making Ichigo love him in the original universe.

Disclaimer: I own neither Tokyo Mew Mew by Reiko Yoshidanor nor the song (Except from a few edits of) Why Don't You Love Me? by Amanda Marshall.

P.S
I have found that this is more emotional for Pre-Teen Hardcore Kisshigo fans.

P.S.S
The original symbolization of the One-Shot is that Kisshu commited suicide and Ichigo regrets what they never had.
