Gou remembers the gentle pitfall of touch, the way that he clings to her.
She remembers the beating of a heart in her ear, the gentle tempo of Nagisa leaning closer.
Kou smiled, smiled as their fingers interlaced, and definitely longed for those moments back.
She wanted to jostle him away from her side to gently press her lips against his, chase every sweet moment, every stolen kiss, and yet she didn't feel like she should when he was half-falling asleep next to her. May be he was just pretending, and she could pull him close again.
There was something warm and inviting about being in his arms, something gentle, sweet, and so, so addicting about kissing. Almost like he embodied the sweets and that bread that he so liked. It shouldn't have made her come unglued, unhinged, and yet she longed for everyone of those moments back right away, right now. To feel lost and almost spineless in sweet love and gentle passion, to kiss like she couldn't live without it.
Sometimes she wondered if he felt it as strongly as she did, and yet he embodied his emotions, was a strong catalyst for them, and she knew as well as anyone who looked at them that he loved her. Did her feelings shine on her face as strongly as his did on his own?
Kou just wanted to slip her arms around Nagisa again and kiss him with all of her life's energy, not anticipating the next moment when they pull away, and not caring at all who saw anymore. She knew as well as anyone else did that her boyfriend was attractive. At first, you may not notice the muscles somehow, but you're shocked by his sweet face, how adorable and eye catching his smile is, and then you're lost with blond curls and happy eyes. Honestly, she could run her hands all day through his soft hair, and she could spend all days gazing into his ruby brown eyes and falling deeper and deeper in love with them as if they were precious gems.
Nagisa is like a center of gravity, holding her in his love, and she never, ever wants to leave it, not when it's the kind of sweet that always keeps her coming back for more.
