I'm SO SO SO SORRY! IDK WHAT HAPPENED TO THE FIRST CHAPTER and it's been forever since I got on…. I can't find chapter one anywhere…. This is really depressing sooo I guess I am rewriting it and I am sorry for those who read it before and maybe reread it or something but here it is all new and different. I'm older and different now so things might be a bit better…. Who knows…. Hopefully it doesn't screw up anything but if something doesn't make sense later in the story just message me and let me know.
Chapter 1
How did we get here?
"Harry! We're going to be late again!" Ginny Potter called up the staircase.
Harry was finishing up getting ready for the party at the ministry while his eldest son was plotting something; which was very common for his eldest son. James Sirius Potter was just like his namesakes; always getting into trouble for something. The boy was almost done with school, and if asked most of his teachers couldn't be happier.
"Rose, keep them out of trouble will you?" Ginny asked the small Hermione look alike.
"I will do my best." Rose glanced at the twins. Scorpius chuckled softly.
Ginny looked up the stairs again. "Harry Potter, get your arse down here before we are late!" She yelled up the stairs.
"I'm here." He came down. "Bye guys." They waved before disappearing.
Teddy Lupin appeared moments after his 'parents' left. "Dad?" He called. Most of the kids were in rooms just hanging out except for James. He heard his 'older brother' calling and getting closer to his father's study so he just grabbed the first thing he could get his hands on, which happened to be a time tuner. He went rushing down the stairs, pushing past Teddy. "What are you up to…?" Teddy followed him.
"Nothing." James said quickly. "Freddy! Think fast!" He called down the stairs, tossing the necklace at Freddy. Freddy caught it, grinning.
"What have we here?" Freddy asked.
"Looks like a necklace, dear brother." Roxy grinned. "Seems like Jamesy is giving you a little gift."
"Hey that's not yours. Put that back, wherever you found it!" Rose looked at the necklace. She tried to grab at it, but Freddy tossed it over her to Roxy.
Roxy looked at it and grinned. "Oh look I get the present now." She tossed it over to Freddy again, the twins playing a game of keepaway from their smaller cousin.
"Give it back guys." Scorpius rolled his eyes. Albus nodded. "Come on guys."
"Lily catch!" Freddy called. Lily caught it but it was quickly snatched out of her hands by James, him being afraid she would give it to Teddy. Teddy went to grab it as James tried to throw it to Freddy again, causing James to drop it. As it crashed to the ground the entire thing shattered into a thousand pieces. Suddenly the entire room was filled with a thick black smoke.
"James!" Rose screamed.
Time: 1995 (later in the story it says 1996 but it is 1995 the whole time)
Place: Grimmauld Place
"I did!" said Harry indignantly. "I asked Ron and Hermione but they said we're not allowed in the order, so-."
Right before Mrs. Weasley could toss in her two cents the room went dark. Everyone pulled out their wands, but nothing they did made it so that they could see.
"Ow! James that's my foot!" Lily cried. Sirius' head jolted when he heard his late best friends name in a familiar but unknown voice.
"Ow, Lily there is no reason to elbow me!" James cried out as someone's elbow came hard at his stomach.
Remus and Sirius were both on high alert hearing their friends names so suddenly. "Rose that hurts!" Albus yelled.
"That wasn't me!" Rose cried out.
"This isn't-.." Freddy said.
"Our best time either." Roxy finished for him.
Finally the smoke cleared, so the people of Grimmauld place could see the large group of teenagers all in a heap on the floor. Albus looked up at the teenager version of his father pointing his wand in his face. "Oh shit…." Albus gulped.
Teddy looked up from trying to untangle himself from Lucy who had managed to fall right on top of him. "Oh god…. James you've done it now." He groaned.
Harry stuck his wand closer to Albus. "Why do you look like me and why did he call him James?! Tell me! Now!" He snapped.
Albus held up his hands in surrender. "Look… I can explain…."
Molly and Lucy looked around worriedly, seeing familiar faces but not their fathers made them worried this was the time their father was not speaking to his family and what that meant for them. That is, if the family believed that they weren't just spies from the bad guys.
"Who are you…" Sirius looked at James.
"Er…. I'm James Sirius Potter." He said.
Albus glared at him. "Seriously James? Who knows what you could mess up!" He hissed.
Harry, Sirius and Remus all stared at him. "There aren't any more Potters alive. And none named after me!" Sirius hissed.
"I'm from the future! I'm his kid!" James pointed to Harry.
Harry stared at him. "Wh-…. But what?!" He blinked.
"Ugh…. Okay. I'm Albus Potter." Albus sighed.
Harry looked between the two of them. "I have kids in the future?" He didn't believe them. "Tell us something only my kids would know."
James and Albus looked at each other. "Cupboard under the stairs." Albus mumbled. "That's where your Hogwarts letter was addressed when you first got it. But your uncle kept destroying them and dragged you around until Hagrid found you and took you to Diagon Ally."
Harry looked at them. "More. I still don't believe you."
"Lucius Malfoy gave Ginny Weasley a diary that belonged to Tom Riddle and made her act weird and open the chamber of secrets. You, Ron and Lockhart had to go and save her but he did a memory spell but it backfired and now he's in St. Mungos with memory loss." Lily said quickly.
"And speaking of Lockhart… you got him to sign you a permission slip to check out a book on polyjuice potion. He did it because he thought Hermione wanted his autograph. Which she did…." Rose said.
That caused most of them to lower their wands. "Okay… I believe you." Harry said slowly. "Introduce yourselves." He told the others.
"Teddy." Teddy's hair changed as he stared at his mother. "Named after Theodore Tonks." He said looking at her.
Tonks tilted her head. "Whoa…" She stared at him.
"That's Freddy-." Roxy started.
"That's Roxy." Freddy finished.
"We're our generation's Weasley twins!" They both said together with huge grins on their faces before high fiving.
George and Fred grinned widely at them. "Mine or his?!" Fred asked.
"One of their names is Freddy, I like to think you're not so self-centered as to name your kid Fred." Ginny rolled her eyes.
"Our parents are George and Angelina Weasley." Freddy grinned.
Fred looked at him. "Wait a second! That's my girlfriend!" He said looking at George.
"Dad is the better twin." Freddy grinned, trying not to look sad.
George high fived his future son; his smile getting wider as he did so. "That is most definitely true."
Ron turned to Rose. "You are most definitely Hermione's daughter." He looked her over. "But who's your dad?"
"Ron Weasley do you see her hair, she's clearly a Weasley." Ginny rolled her eyes.
Ron stared at her. "Which.. Which Weasley?"
"Maybe it's me." Fred winked over at Hermione. Hermione crinkled her nose. "Or not."
"I'm Hugo, her younger brother!" Hugo grinned, wondering if that helped; it didn't.
"Our dad is Ron Weasley." Rose chuckled.
Ron and Hermione gaped at them. "You're not serious. " She said.
Rose smiled. "Completely serious, mum." She said.
"This is Lucy and Molly." Teddy said.
"Mine?" Fred asked.
Lucy shook her head. "Um… no." She said.
Molly looked at them for a second. "They're Percy's girls. They have his nose." She said, sniffling.
Lucy walked over and hugged her. "I'm sorry we're upsetting you, grandmum." She mumbled. Molly felt how comfortable Lucy was around her and felt better. That meant that Percy came to his senses at some point in the future.
"And you?" Molly looked at Lily.
"I'm Lily." Lily grinned.
"You look like my Lily." Sirius smiled softly.
Lily smiled softly. "Thanks. She is my grandmother so…" She said.
Harry looked at her. "You're my daughter?" He asked.
Lily waved. "Yup. Hi hi!"
Molly looked at her. "Oh my goodness!" She smiled softly.
Lily winked with a grin. "Hi grandmum."
"Wait….." Fred and George were the first of the boys to have what she said click. They turned to Harry with wide eyes. "You knocked up our sister! Three times!" They looked ready to pounce.
Ginny rolled her eyes. "Oh shut up. You lot love Harry so don't even pretend like you're angry he becomes officially part of the family." She tilted her head to the side. "Though I wonder what happened to Michael… Oh well."
Ron looked at Ginny. "Who the hell is Michael?" He asked.
"Her boyfriend, Ronald." Hermione rolled her eyes. "Do keep up."
Rose and Hugo looked at each other. This wasn't the normal bickering of their parents they were used to. These versions of their parents didn't even seem to like each other.
Lily looked at Ginny. "You never told me about Michael. I thought you only dated Dean before Dad." She said.
Harry looked confused. "Wait Dean Thomas? Like … the one in our year?"
Lily nodded. "Yeah, Mr. Thomas."
Harry looked at Ginny. "I thought you liked me, but you have a boyfriend?"
Hermione rolled her eyes yet again. "Yes Harry, because a girl wants to hold on to a crush for 5 years with no repercussions." She said. Rose chuckled softly at her mother's words.
Ron looked over at Scorpius, who was hiding behind Rose. "You're not a Weasley." He said looking him over. "You look more like a Malfoy. What are you doing hanging around my kid?" He asked angrily.
Scorpius blushed, looking like he wanted to blend into the carpet. "Uh… I'm Scorpius." He mumbled.
"This is my boyfriend. I'd appreciate it if you would stop glaring at him. He's a very close friend of the family." Rose snapped.
Albus stepped closer to them. "Yeah, He's my best friend so if you think you can mess with him: you're wrong." He told Ron with a firm voice.
James nodded. "Yeah nobody messes with him. Got it?" He glared at his father.
Harry nodded slowly. "You must be different from Malfoy if they're willing to protect you." He looked at Scor. Scorpius nodded shyly.
"Albus Severus Potter! James Sirius Potter! There are better ways to go about things than being so rude." Rose muttered.
"You snapped first!" James whined.
"Did you just call him Albus Severus Potter?!" Ginny asked Rose.
James looked at Ginny and then Rose. "Oooh that was not me this time. You spilled the beans."
Sirius looked outraged. "Why in the Hell would you name your kid after Snivillus, Harry!"
Harry shook his head with wide eyes. "I have no idea!" He said.
Albus shrugged. "You'll understand when you're older. And Sirius… you'll still not approve but some people get it."
Sirius shook his head. "I will never approve. I don't care at all what you say. I hope I yell at you for it every single day."
James bit his lip. "Oh…you do." He said thinking of the painting of Sirius on the wall in their house. "It's always Ra Ra, I don't care what Snape does blah blah."
Sirius nodded. "Good."
"Do Bill and Charlie have kids as well?" Molly asked.
"Bill definitely does." Lily giggled looking at Teddy. "Teddy is married to his eldest daughter."
Bill looked at Teddy. "Really?!"
Teddy was staring at his mother with wide green eyes. Tonks looked back at him, trying to read the emotion on his face. Remus glanced between them, confused. "Uh yeah. Her name is Victoire. She has a brother Louis and a sister Domonique."
Bill thought about it for a second. "Those names are very French…"
"Well yeah…" Rose smiled softly.
"Am I dead?" Tonks asked suddenly.
Time: 2022
Place: Harry and Ginny's House
Harry and Ginny appeared into their house. "I'll go check on the kids while you get cleaned up?" Harry smiled kissing Ginny's head. He knew she wanted to get out of her dress robes.
"Yes please, thank you." She smiled kissing his cheek.
Harry went up to Lily's room. "Lily?" He called softly. When he got no answer he figured she was asleep and went to kiss her goodnight. He looked in her bed, confused that it was empty. He went to the other rooms. "Ginny! The kids are gone!" He called worriedly.
"What?! But everyone was with us! Where could they be!?" Ginny gasped. They quickly got everyone together. Ginny looked at Harry worriedly when no one knew where they were. "Where could they be?!" She asked, scared.
"We'll find them. I promise." Harry said.
