It was a cold, yet calm morning on Shuggazoom.

BOOM!

Well...not calm everywhere.

A big, black ball of fire whooshed through the air towards the ground, and landed with a boom.

"Hey! Get back here!" A man shouted as a small kid, a boy, tembled out of the 'ball'. It looked more like a circular space ship.

The kid ran as fast as he could. Not knowing where he was heading, he bumped into a figure.

Chiro's POV

I was heading back to the robot with some hover burgers when a kid bumped into me. He mumbled apologies, looking up to who I was. I smiled at him, "No prob."

I had just enough time to observe how he looked. He had golden and tangled hair till his neck. His chocolate brown eyes were filled with tears - and fear. He wore ripped jeans and a faded green shirt with torn sleeves. For a kid who barely looked 7, I figured he was in trouble.

"You okay?" I asked with a slight hint of concern. He shook his head, panting, and hid behind me as about three men ran up to us.

"You need to come with us, kid." One of them said. He shook his head. He roughly smacked him on his head.

"Hey! Take it easy!" I protested. It wasn't long before all of them were in a deep fight.

And when normal mode doesn't help, I need some powers.

The boy's POV (I'll tell you the name later)

The boy - whom I hid behind - pressed something like a button on his shirt and he changed!

He didn't have blue jeans and a red sweater anymore. He wore a white shirt and white pants and had weird orange lines on his face. His hair was spikier than before.

"MONKEY FU!" He yelled as a a green ball appeared in his hands and he threw it towards the men who were chasing me.

I don't know why they were after me. I never did anything to them!

Chiro's POV - again... -_-

Realizing that I had powers, the three of them rushed away.

"And don't you come back!" I threatened and turned over to the kid, "Are you okay?" I helped him up. He thanked me over and over again.

TIME SKIP!

"So why were those thugs after you, anyway?" I asked as I sat beside Oliver on the park bench, who was busy gobbling the hover burger I got him.

He shrugged as he gulped the last piece of it. "You sure were hungry!" I chuckled. He nodded happily.

"So where do you live?" I then asked after a moment of silence.

"I-I don't have a home..." He said, looking down.

"Why? What happened?" I asked in surprize.

"The men - t-those people who were chasing me, they b-burnt down our home when they came in search of me...they took my mommy and daddy too..." He whispered with tears in his eyes.

"Do you know them?"

He shook his head. "I dunno why they're after me..." He sniffed, "I miss my mommy..."

"Aw, it's okay!" I tried to cheer him up. "Don't worry, I'll get you back to your mom."

"Y-you will?" He looked at me.

"Yeah, sure!" I smiled. He beamed, "YAY!" I chuckled.

"Hey Oliver?"

"Uh-huh?"

"You see that big robo over there?" I bent down to him and pointed to the Super Robot outside the park.

He nodded. "Yeah?"

"That's my home."

He gasped, "It is?!"

"Yeah!" I smiled.

"It's so big!" He said in surprize. I chuckled, "Yes it is. So do you wanna take a visit?" He nodded eagerly. So I jumped up from the bench and he followed me to the robot.

His eyes grew wide as the door of the Foot Crusher slid open. "T-the foot's gonna eat me!" He yelled and hid behind me. I laughed. "It won't eat you, Oliver. It's the entrance." I let him inside.

He seemed facinated with all the stuff until he saw Otto, who was in the Command Center, working on a new machine.

"Hey Chiro!" He greeted. Oliver hid behind me. I gave him a reassuring smile. "It's okay, Oliver. This is Otto. Otto, Oliver."

Oliver slowly and hesitatingly stepped forth to Otto.

"Hi!" Otto cheerfully shook his hand. "I'm Otto!"

"H-hi. I'm Oliver." Oliver replied.
