CHAPTER I: HIDDEN TRUTHS, PART I
Adam, Bree, Chase, and Leo come back from their deadliest mission. Donald comes in and congratulates them for completing it.
DONALD: Well done, guys! That was the best mission you have ever completed!
ADAM: Well, for me, nothing blew up again, to me, it was a colossal failure.
Donald gives Adam a surprised look.
LEO: Well, guess what? You got heat vision, and a year full of no missions. Go make something out of it!
Adam likes Leo's idea.
Donald: Well, you guys deserved it after defeating Logan…
Donald is interrupted by someone on the TV screen.
?: Hello, Donald. I suppose you remember me?
Donald: JACK!
Leo: Jack? As in Jack Ryder?
Jack Ryder: I heard that you were done doing missions. Well, here's one that will tingle your godforsaken spines.
Jack Ryder shows someone frozen in suspended animation.
Chase: Mr. Davenport, who is that?
Donald: To be honest, I have no idea.
Jack Ryder: Nice try. You better stop lying to them, or else shit's going to get ugly.
Jack disconnects from the TV servers.
Bree: Didn't that guy look like Jack?
Chase: Yeah, he did. But if memory serves, Adam said we needed a new dad when Sebastian blew up the hydra-loop with his rebellion.
Adam: So do you think that guy is our dad?
Donald: Guys, I need to tell you something. That guy in the ice… he is your father.
Adam, Bree, Chase, and Leo are shocked to hear Donald say that.
Chase: What? How is that possible? We were genetically engineered.
Donald: Well, you weren't. That man in the ice is Vincent Davenport, my youngest brother and the superhero Ultima.
Adam: Ultima? Aw, sweet! I read so many of the comic books based on him.
Leo: You have?
Adam: Yeah, and his girlfriend gave birth to three kids.
Bree takes a look at the comic.
Bree: Guys, those babies have our names.
Chase: She's right. Adam, Bree, and Chase.
Adam, Bree, Chase, and Leo look at Donald, disappointed.
