A/N 4.8.13: This was for a bunch of friends as we were having out annual celebration of...being friends. Fun stuff ;)
It's here because I still want to keep it onsite even though it's past our celebration. And it really isn't that good, either, but I'm learning.
Here's The Boy Who Lived, written during the days of Amanda Katniss Granger...enjoy! :)

HI! Happy Harry Potter and Jo Rowling's Birthday!

Three days ago, I went to NYC with my family and saw Potted Potter! It was a HP parody, and it was hilarious! If you ever get the chance to go to NYC, definitely check that out!

This little drabble is dedicated to my fellow members of the DA. All nine of you have changed my life in a way that's...well...totally awesome! I am super excited for tonight, and I hope that one day we can all actually have a real DA meeting. Here's to this great year, and another, and another, and another!

The Boy Who Lived

Harry Potter.

Harry Potter, the boy who lived.

Harry Potter, the boy who has lived many years.

Harry Potter, the boy who has changed our lives.

When one sees this name, the brain response is instant. Everyone knows about Harry Potter, and how great of an impact it has made in our lives.

But, do you really know about Harry Potter? Do you really know the way it has changed us?

Have you felt the impact?

Harry Potter has taught us everything about life, death, friendship, sacrifice. Every single story had a complex outline and deep details and many characters, but it's centered around one thing.

Love.

Why did Harry Potter tell Hermione to stay with Ron when he's injured?

Love.

Why did Harry save his best friend and somebody that he didn't even know in the second task?

Love.

Why did Harry sacrifice himself that night when he could have easily surrendered?

It's safe to say that Harry Potter has and will be a role model for years to come.

I know I have felt the impact. Thanks to it, I now know many things I didn't know before: my dream goal, and my passion for writing. I have met some great friends and I have been able to share my love of Harry with my sister.

Thanks to visits to the café and a train ride, the world has a hero to cherish for all time. Thanks to a woman with a dream with a dream that she wouldn't give up on, we have our classic tale to tell our children.

Thanks to our choice to sit down and read, a world has been opened up like none was before.

Harry Potter, the boy who will live on for many more years.

Harry Potter, the boy who will continue to change our lives forever.

Thanks for reading! Please review!

Happy L Night, my fellow members of the DA ;)
