Authors note: This is my first original story. Everything is owned by me! I have nothing else to say really, so let's get started.

On March 28, 2021, there was a boy. This boy's name was IIsan, IIsan Soon. IIsan lived in Nagasaki, Japan. He lived by himself, as his parents were overseas and was most likely staying. He has lived on his own for about a year or two now. IIsan is a first year in high school, starting April. His parents paid for his apartment, and have him a tiny allowance for food, water, and clothes. He didn't have many friends, nor TV, video games, or stuff like that. But he enjoyed his life. He had music to entertain him, he had books, and he also wrote some. IIsan usually wore light tan cargo pants, a black star wars T-shirt, a green creeper sweatshirt (yes, Minecraft), a pair black running shoes, and headphones.

(Ethan's POV)

Near about noon I was walking back from the store. I had bought my dinner, instant ramen and rice. It was my usual dinner, and lunch. Then I heard some commotion in an alley just up ahead of me. When I go to take a look I see a group. They were part of a gang called "the White Sharks." They were known all across Japan as the scariest and most dangerous gang in Japan. It's rare to come in contact with them, and when you do it's for something HUGE! I then looked closer and saw a shadow figure on their knees, covering their head. Then I realize what was happening. I dropped my bags and ran into the alley, pulling my headphones off my ears and put it around my neck. I then yell. "Hey, get away from them!" They don't stop. "Hey, I said get away!" I then push through the gang and in front of the person. The gang members look at me. The "leader" walked up to me and grabbed me by the shirt collar. "Hey kid, don't interfere." He then threw me aside on the ground. I immediately got up and ran in-between the again. "I said stop!" He sighed. "Kid, I said don't interfere." He then pulled his arm back and got ready to punch. They didn't know, but I took martial arts (tae Kwan do) almost my entire life. I was more then prepared for a fight, even thou this would be my first "actual" fight, as the only fights I've been in was sparing. I laughed while taking my headphones off, I then tossed them behind me. "So a fight huh, ok." I stepped back, getting ready to fight. He then shot at me. I quickly ducked under his arm; his arm went over my head. I then turned around and grinned. "You know, this is my first fight. This is pretty fun!" He snarled at me and shot at me again. I ducked under his arm again, but this time after he passed over I immediately shot up. I the delivered a side kick into the back of his head. He stumbled forward, falling face first onto the ground. He jumped up. "Hey, that hurt you little bastard!" I shrugged. "Ok, so?" He snarled and ran at me with a punch again. I watched as he came closer and closer. This time I didn't duck, I grabbed his arm mid punch. I put my left arm on his wrist, and my right arm of his shoulder. I then threw him into the wall, he then fell to the ground. I laughed. "Well, that was fun while it lasted." I then did a jump round kick ( watch?v=7TKA8NhpjeQ something like this) and hit the side of his face, knocking him out. The other just starred; eventually they ran out of the alley. I turned to the person. My eyes went wide as I saw a girl, in high school. She looked about 17. She had short red hair, beautiful red eyes, and a beautiful face. She wore a private school uniform. It looked like the one I was ganna go too soon. I walked over. "You ok?" She nodded. "Yeah, I'm ok. Thank you for saving me." I nodded and helped her up. "No problem. I'm IIsan Soon, what's your name?" She looked at me. "I'm Kokona Akamine." I smiled and picked up my headphones. "Nice to meet you. So what did you do to make them mad?" She shrugged. "I don't know, I didn't do anything." I nodded. "Well, we should get out of this alley." She nodded and followed me out. She then looked at her clothes. "Man, I just washed these to." I laughed. "Well my place has a washer, plus it's probably safer." She nodded in agreement. "Yes, probably." I laughed. "I'm not a pervert by the way." Kokona sighed and laughed. "Ok, good."

Later at my apartment her clothes were in the washer as we sat in the living room. I sat on the floor with my back rested on the couch as I listened to music. Kokona sat on the couch; she starred at me (not in a weird way, just on a carious way). Then she heard a ding, saying the washer was done. She tapped my shoulder; I then pulled off my headphones and looked at her. "Yeah?" She pointed to the washer. "I heard it ding; does that mean it's done?" I nodded. "Yeah, it's done. I'll get it for you." She grabbed my shoulder. "No, I'll get it." I sat back down, looking at her in confusion. "Um, ok?" She then ran to the washer and got her uniform. Then she started doing the rest of my laundry. I jumped up in shock. "Hey, wait… What are you doing!?" She looked at me in confusion. "I'm doing the laundry. Why, is something wrong?" I ran over and nodded. "Yeah, I can do these myself! You need to change!" I then pushed her into bathroom and closed the door. Then I sat down on the couch. She quickly changed, then she ran into the kitchen. I shot up and walked to the kitchen to see her pull ingredients from the fridge and start cooking. I ran over and pulled her away from the kitchen a bit. "What are you doing!?" She looked at me. "I'm cooking… why?" I sat there for a sec, starring at her. "Why are you cooking!?" She turned and started walking to the kitchen. "Because, its dinner time." I looked at her like she was dumb. "That still doesn't answer my question. Why are you cooking dinner!?" She turned around before entering the kitchen. "Because senpai, its dinner time." My yes shot open as I thought to myself for a bit. 'Senpai? Why did she call me senpai? WHAT IS GOING ON!?' I then snapped back into reality and walked into the kitchen. I grabbed Kokona's hand and pulled her out of the kitchen. "Are we going somewhere?" I shook my head. "Not 'we' just 'you' ok?" She looked at me with confusion. "What do you mean?" I then opened the door and pushed her out. "YOU'RE going home..." I then slammed the door shut and locked it. She sat there. "But I haven't finished making dinner… and the laundry." I yelled threw the door. "I'll take it from here, just go home… ok!?" I then heard her walk away. "Ok, well I'll see you later!"

The next couple days she constantly came back, yelling. "Senpai… Senpai let me in… What's about your laundry and dinner and cleaning!?" She would sit there for a bit in the morning, then come back later in the afternoon, then came back the next morning. I just sat there with my back against the door, listening to my music with my headphones on. Then when it was the morning of the first day of school, she never came.

Later that day at about 7, I walked into my home room. I looked around at the seats; it looked like I was the first one there. I could pick any seat I wanted, so I chose the back left corner. I started walking when I heard someone yell behind me. "Senpai, oh my gosh!" I sat there. "Senpai? Senpai… Senpai… Sen-" My eyes went wide. "Oh no!"
