Granny, Daphne, Uncle Jake, Puck and Mr. Canis,
Why didn't you tell me? All of you knew. I may have not understood the looks between, Granny, Uncle Jake, and Mr. Canis, but I knew there was something going on. Even Puck gave me a knowing look every time I realized my hair was getting curlier and more golden. And Daphne! You're my sister, how could you have hidden this from me?
But this is not the real reason I am running away. I am leaving because I put everyone in danger. Don't deny it. It's my fault Canis used the Wolf's power, and couldn't control the Wolf. It was my impulsive behavior that almost killed Puck. I have put this family in danger more times than I can count. And now I have become the being I hate most: an Everafter. All I have ever wanted was to forget that this whole thing ever happen, to go back to the way things were. But I can't, and me being an Everafter will only put you in more danger. Today, Bluebeard approached with an ultimatum—join the Scarlet Hand, or have my family killed. I don't know how he knew what I was, but he said that a Grimm everafter was too dangerous to be on the Grimm's side.
I am leaving, not to join the Scarlet Hand, but to get out of this town. Being on no one's side will have to be enough for Bluebeard. I know you're going to say that the Scarlet Hand was after us anyway, but I have put you in danger long enough.
So now for goodbyes. Daphne, I'm sorry I stole the North Wind from you and I want you to be happy in Ferryport Landing. Granny, I will always be thankful for the patience and love you have given me, even when I doubted you. Uncle Jake, I love you and its been great knowing you. Mr. Canis, I'm sorry for all the times I lost faith in you, thanks for protecting my family. And Puck, oh what the heck, I have feelings for you. But don't get a big head over it.
Don't worry about me, I'll just sneak around New York for a few more years until I can get a job. Who knows, maybe I'll run into my biological mom. If I do, I'll send Goldilocks over to wake up Dad and Veronica.
I'm borrowing the Vorpal Blade to get through the barrier, but I'll mail it back in few days.
Stay safe,
Love, Sabrina
Sabrina Grimm, daughter of Henry Grimm and Goldilocks, wiped a stray tear off her face. She carefully arranged her letter on the kitchen table, making sure it was noticeable.
She bid goodbye to Elvis, hiding her face in his neck and breathing in the scent of his skin. What's wrong? He huffed in concerned, but Sabrina pretended she couldn't hear him. This whole understanding animal thing she had gotten from Goldilocks was going to take some getting used to.
Heavy with the vorpal blade, Sabrina lifted a purple duffel bag onto her shoulder and locked the Grimm house for the last time.
Huh. Well, tell me what annoys you, what I did wrong, or if you liked it. Maybe this will be a oneshot, or if you want, I'll squeeze a story out of it. Thanks for reading!
