A/N: In this story James and Kara are dating, Mon-El is just a friend.

Kara laughed as she placed her hand on Lena's knee, "I'm glad we did this, I needed it," she said as she stood up and gathered all their food boxes.

"Me too," Lena replied with a smile as she slid her heels back on.

"Well I should get back to the office," Kara said as she walked towards the door, she stopped with her hand on the nob as she slowly turned around, "you should come to game night tomorrow."

Lena looked surprised at the request as she sat back in her desk chair, "are you sure?"

"Everyone loves you it will be fun," Kara assured her.

"Okay then I will be there," Lena said with a dazzling smile.

Kara beamed as she turned on her heel and left.

She is going to be the death of me, Lena thought as she rubbed her temple.

"Hey babe where were you?" James asked as Kara exited the elevator at Catco.

"With Lena having lunch," Kara responded as she set her stuff down at her desk before kissing his cheek.

"I thought we talked about this," he said angrily as he crossed his arms.

"You talked at me, not to me," Kara snapped. "She's my best friend."

"She's dangerous," James whined.

Kara rolled her eyes at her boyfriend, she cared about him she did but damn did he annoy her sometimes. "She is far from dangerous, she is not her family! Hell even Alex likes her!" Kara yelled causing some of their coworkers to glance in shock at the normally very quiet and nice reporter.

"Look I'm sorry, I just don't trust her," James said again as he rubbed Kara's shoulders.

"Well I do," Kara responded as she kissed him quickly before sitting at her desk and getting to work on her article.

James frowned a little before stalking off. "Are we still on for tonight?" he called over his shoulder causing Kara to look up.

"Sure yeah," she smiled before looking back down.

"So where is James taking you?" Alex asked as she thumbed through Kara's clothes rack.

"He didn't say," Kara responded as she held up a navy blue dress.

"Perfect," Alex said as she gave her a thumbs up.

Kara just smiled as she began changing, she looked towards her door when she heard a knock, "he's early," she said with a frown.

"I will get it, keep getting ready," Alex assured her.

Alex went to open the door, she smiled when she saw Lena on the other side, "Luther," she greeted her as she held the door open for the business woman.

"Danvers," Lena shot back as she set her purse down.

"Alex is it him?" Kara asked as she walked into the living room shoes in hand.

Lena and Alex both looked towards her, Lena's mouth dropped open as she took in Kara's appearance, she was wearing the navy blue dress that ended above the knee showing off her killer legs. She had her beautiful blonde hair down and curled framing her face; she had a pair of blue heels in her hand and her glasses in the other.

"Lena hey!" Kara greeted her friend with a small wave as she slid on her shoes.

"You look great," Lena said as she eyed her friend up and down.

Kara seemed oblivious as she smiled, "thanks."

"So what brings you by?" Alex asked as she smirked at the CEO who kept shooting subtle glances towards the blonde hero.

"Oh I umm brought over the ideas for Kara's new suit," Lena said as she handed over a stack of papers to Alex.

"Oh great!" Kara said as she sat beside her sister so she could glance over them.

"This looks great," Alex said. "I will show them to Winn first thing tomorrow," Alex said.

Lena beamed, "great."

All three women looked towards the door when they heard a bang, "that must be James," Kara squealed as she stood up and went to answer the door.

Alex watched Lena as her face fell as she watched Kara kiss James.

James looked over Kara's shoulder and saw Lena siting there watching them, he felt a burning rage course through him, "what the hell is she doing here?"

"James?!" Kara scolded her boyfriend as she gently pushed him away from her.

"What's your problem Olson?" Alex asked as she stood up and glared at the angry man who still hadn't taken his eyes off the Luther.

"Maybe I should go," Lena said as she stood up and went to retrieve her purse.

"No please you don't have to," Kara said as she placed her hand over Lena's.

Lena's heart raced at the contact, "I don't want to cause any trouble," she said as she smiled at Kara.

"Its fine you stay we will go," Kara said as she squeezed her hand before dragging her angry boyfriend away.

Lena watched her go dread filling her stomach, if James hated her so much would Kara start to as well?

"I know what you're thinking and the answer is no, my sister will never hate you," Alex said as she came up behind the Luther causing her to jump.

"Geeze you scared the hell out of me," Lena said as she placed a hand over her rapidly beating heart.

"Sorry," Alex said as she walked towards the fridge and grabbed two beers she handed one to Lena before opening the other and heading back towards the couch. She patted the spot next to her and waited for Lena to sit before speaking.

"So you like my sister?" she asked as she took a sip of her beer. She laughed when Lena began choking; she patted her back gently before handing her a tissue.

"What are you talking about?" Lena asked as she set the beer down.

"I see the way you look at her," Alex commented as she finished off her beer before picking up Lena's.

"It doesn't even matter," Lena said sadly as she looked away tears threating to spill.

"Look I have never seen my sister defend someone so hard, she cares about you Lena," Alex said as she handed her more tissues.

"She has James," Lena cried out as she dabbed her eyes.

"Look this stays between us all right," Alex warned as she stared the Luther down until she nodded. "Okay Kara has liked James for a while as everyone knows, he always kept his distance though or dated someone else, and he always broke her heart. So when Mon-El showed and Kara and he grew close James all of a sudden decided he wanted Kara, he always made her choose, Mon-El or him, Adam r or him, Kara couldn't be with anyone else or hell be friends with anyone else without him getting jealous. But with you it's different," Alex breathed out.

"How so?" Lena asked as she gave the older Danvers sister her full attention.

"He made her choose between him and you and she chose you," Alex replied. "She said you were her best friend as she would be damned if she lost you."

Lena finally let the tears fall; she never had anyone defend her so fiercely even at the expanse of their own relationship.

"She cares about you so much," Alex assured her as she smiled at her.

"Thanks for telling me all this," Lena said as she wiped her eyes.

"Anytime but if you tell anyone I will kill you," Alex warned her as she shot her a glare.

Lena laughed, "I believe you."

"You had better," Alex laughed.

Meanwhile across town Kara and James were holding hands as they walked around the National City Pier, it was a chilly night and James had to pull his coat tighter around him to keep out the cool air.

"Are you cold? Do you want to go inside?" Kara asked as she saw him shiver again.

"I'm fine," he snapped as he stopped walking causing Kara to almost run into him.

"James what's wrong?" Kara asked as she looked at him in concern.

"I don't like you hanging around Lena, she can't be trusted," James said his voice cold.

Kara had never heard him be this cold, "James she's my best friend I trust her why can't you just give her a chance?"

James closed his eyes as he let go of her hand and rubbed his face, "I will never trust a Luther," he spat out a look of pure hatred on his face.

"James please," Kara pleaded but he was quick to cut her off.

"Can we just enjoy our date?" he asked as he began to walk off holding out his hand for her to take.

"Okay," Kara mumbled sadly as she took it.

Meanwhile across town Lena had decided to go back to L-Corp she had some paperwork she had to get done and she would rather throw herself into her work than have to think about James Fucking Olson out with Kara, getting to hold her, kiss her, love her, when that's all she wanted. She signed as she got up and grabbed a bottle of vodka, her night called for something strong.

"Dance with me?" James asked as the waiter took their empty plates away.

Kara smiled as she took his hand and allowed him to lead her to the dance floor, where she wrapped her arms around him. She smiled as they danced together beautifully until they pulled apart and James held his arm out for her to take.

"I had a lovely evening, thanks James," Kara said sweetly as he walked her to her door.

"Pleasure was all mine Miss Danvers," he replied as he kissed her deeply.

Kara wrapped her arms around him as she pulled him inside, he was about to shut the door when they heard a gasp.

"Lena?" Kara asked as she pulled away.

"Sorry it's late I should go," Lena slurred as she turned to go but nearly tripped over nothing.

"Lena!" Kara called as she caught her before she hit the ground.

"Aww my hero," Lena slurred as she wrapped her arms around the superhero that helped her up and inside.

"Are you kidding me?!" James seethed as he slammed the door causing Lena to groan.

"James not now," Kara argued as she went to the kitchen to grab some water, she handed it to Lena who graciously accepted it.

"She's clearly drunk off her ass," James whined as he threw his hands up.

"Something is clearly wrong," Kara defended her as she pulled James toward the door and out of earshot.

"Why do you always stand up for her? She shows up at your doorstep drunk knowing we had a date," James whined some more.

Kara closed her eyes as she took a deep breath, "James she is my best friend something is bothering her so she came to me, I'm sorry if you felt it ruined our date," Kara said as she placed her hand on his bicep.

"I was hoping things would go further," he said as he glanced back to see where Lena was, she was still on the couch, nodding off. "We haven't had sex in months," he whined once again shockingly.

"James she needs me, I will see you at work tomorrow," Kara said as she opened the door for him.

He glared at Lena angrily before leaving making sure to kiss Kara deeply as he saw how upset it made the Luther. He knew about her crush and he would be damned if he let her get in the way.

"Okay Lena what's bothering you?" Kara asked as she walked back towards the couch only to find her friend fast asleep.

Kara couldn't help but smile as she pulled off Lena's heels before grabbing a blanket and draping it over her best friend. She leaned down and kissed her forehead as she watched her sleep, she had to admit her best friend was beautiful. "Goodnight," she whispered as she turned off the lights and made her way to her room. Lena opened her eyes as she smiled and pulled the blanket tighter around her.

Lena awoke with a groan as the bright light streaming in from Kara's blinds hit her square in the face, ugh I'm never drinking again she thought as she noticed the water, aspirin, and a note sitting on the coffee table in front of her. She grabbed the aspirin and water and took it before grabbing the note.

Hey I had an early meeting I had to get to; there is plenty of food in the fridge and fresh coffee in the pot. I will swing by and bring you some food. I hope you get to feeling better, I'm worried about you . I love you.

Kara.

Lena wiped away the tears that were falling as she read the note, she hadn't meant to worry her best friend she had just wanted to see her so bad, that her drunk self-thought it would be a good idea to just show up. She was glad to know Kara didn't hate her though. Her stomach grumbled as she grabbed her heels and made her way to the kitchen.

"So did Lena ever tell you what was wrong with her?" James asked as he leaned on the doorframe to Kara's office.

"No and even if she had its private," Kara snapped as she continued working.

"Whatever, can I take you to lunch?" he asked as he walked in.

"I'm actually having lunch with Lena," Kara said as she checked her watch and realized she was late.

"Of course you are," James snapped.

"Please don't," Kara said sadly as she grabbed her purse and placed a kiss to his cheek before leaving.

Lena was beginning to worry maybe Kara really was mad and chose to blow her off, or maybe James finally mad her choose and she chose him, she was so lost in thought she didn't even hear the door open.

"Hey you," Kara greeted her as she smiled at her brightly.

Lena jumped as she turned to see the beautiful reporter standing behind her carrying two bags.

"Sorry didn't mean to scare you," Kara laughed. "Figured you could use some grease to help with the hangover, "Kara said as she set the bags down.

"You thought right," Lena chuckled as she sat down next to the blue eyed woman of her dreams.

"So is everything alright?" Kara asked as she gathered up the empty wrappers.

"Yeah just a rough night at work," Lena lied as she gave her a tight smile.

"Well if you ever want to talk I'm here, Kara assured her as she held her arms open for a hug.

Lena just beamed as she melted into her arms, she silently prayed she would never let go but she did when her phone went off. Kara rolled her eyes as she checked her phone.

"Everything okay?" Lena asked as she pulled her heels back on.

"James wants me back at the office," Kara said sadly as she grabbed her purse.

Lena felt her heart break, why did she let James have so much power over her?

"I will see you tonight?" Kara asked hopefully as she opened the door.

"Are you sure James won't be mad?" Lena asked.

Kara's smile fell, "let him be, you're important to me too," she said as she smiled once more before leaving.

Kara put the finishing touches on the food, before looking up at the sound of the familiar heartbeat, he knocked before entering.

"Hey," James said with a smile as he set the bottle of wine down on the counter.

"Hi," Kara said timidly as she gave him a small wave.

"Are you okay?" he asked as he shrugged off his jacket and hung it on the coat rack.

"Are you?" Kara shot back.

James signed, "Look I'm really sorry about last night. I was out of line," he said as he cupped her cheek.

"So you will give Lena a chance?" Kara asked her voice full of joy.

James's smile fell, "I'm not ever going to trust her Kara, I'm sorry," he said as he stepped back.

"Hey party people!" Alex shouted as she and Maggie, followed by Winn entered the apartment.

"Hi guys," Kara mumbled as she looked towards the floor her bottom lip quivering.

Alex shot James a dirty look, she knew he had something to do with her sister's frown at least he had the decency to look sad about it.

"So what game are we playing first?" Winn called over his shoulder as he went to sit on the floor near the coffee table.

"Am I late?" Lena asked as she stuck her head in.

Kara's whole face lit up when she saw her, which Alex or James failed not to notice.

"I got caught behind on paperwork," Lena said as she took her coat off and hung it beside James.

"You're right on time," Kara said as she took her hand and led her to the kitchen.

"You invited her?! James yelled causing everyone to jump.

"I told you she's my best friend," Kara said as calmly as possible.

"I can leave," Lena said as she began to grab her stuff.

"No you don't have to go," Kara told her as she placed her hands over hers.

"Are you kidding me!? James yelled again causing Kara to jump at his tone.

"Olsen you had better watch your tone," Alex warned as she stepped in front of her sister and Lena.

"Stay out of this Alex," he snapped.

"James please calm down," Kara pleaded as she stepped pass Alex.

"She is just using you because your Supergirl," he tried to tell her but Kara held her hand up stopping him.

"Enough James, I trust her, Alex and Maggie trust her, Winn trusts her, hell even J'onn trusts her," Kara stated, "you need to get over your vendetta against her, she is not her family."

James seethed with anger as he stared pass Kara at Lena who was still standing behind Kara watching the scene unfold. "I can't do this," he said voice cold.

"James please don't do this," Kara said as tears welled up in her eyes.

"Kara you can't expect me to ever trust her, she's trying to break us up and its working." James pleaded with her as he stared Lena down coldly.

So you're breaking up with me?" Kara asked sadly.

"I'm sorry," he said as he cast one more glance at her before turning and leaving.

"Kara?" Alex began but Kara stormed off to her room slamming the door behind her.

"Maybe we should give her some space," Maggie said as she looked towards Winn who was still shocked the normally put together Jimmy Olsen could be so cold.

"I will catch up with you guys," Alex said as Maggie and Winn headed for the door. Maggie gave her a quick kiss before leaving.

"I can't believe what just happened," Lena said more to herself than Alex.

"He's a dick I told you," Alex said.

"It's all my fault. Kara must hate me," Lena cried out as tears fell from her eyes.

"Did you not see how she defended you? She could never hate you," Alex assured her. "She needs you though."

"She might want to be alone," Lena said as she tried not to cry even more at the heartbreaking cries coming from Kara's room.

"Go talk to her, trust me," Alex told her as she walked out the door closing it behind her.

Lena wiped her eyes and grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge before walking towards Kara's room, she knocked lightly on the door, "Kara sweetie are you okay?"

Lena was surprised when the door opened and a broken Kara Danvers stood before her, "you stayed?" she asked her voice hoarse.

"Of course I did, you need me," Lena said giving her a smile to try and break the tension.

"I really do," Kara cried out as she wrapped her arms around her best friend crying into her shoulder.

Lena held her close as she felt her heart break more and more for the woman she so desperately loved.

"Sorry to blubber all over you," Kara said as she pulled away and wiped her eyes.

"It's okay, it's what I'm here for," Lena assured her as she reached out and wiped away more tears as they fell.

"I'm sorry about all the horrible stuff he has said about you and your family," Kara said broken as she sat on her bed looking very much like a child as she wrapped her arms around herself.

"I'm used to it and besides his opinion of me doesn't matter," Lena assured her as she sat beside her.

"I can't believe he was so cold," Kara whispered as if she forgot Lena was there for a minute.

"Kara can I ask you something?" Lena asked as she took the reporters hand.

"Anything," Kara responded as she turned to face her fully.

"Why did you choose me?" Lena asked her voice vulnerable as her hands shook.

Kara took her shaky hands into her own, "It wasn't really a choice you mean a lot to me Lena."

Lena tried not to cry as she listened to her words, "I didn't mean for any of this to happen."

"It's not your fault, me and James had problems long before you came along it was just a matter of time if I'm being honest with myself. Maybe I'm just meant to be alone," she finished of sadly as tears fell from her eyes.

Lena's heart broke at those words as she cupped Kara's face and waited for her blue eyes to meet her green ones, "Kara you are the kindest, most sincere, selfless, person I know. You deserve nothing but happiness, your heart is so big and full of love. James is a complete idiot for letting you go," Lena said as she kissed her forehead.

"You really think so?" Kara asked as she smiled at the woman in front of her.

"I know so," Lena responded as she kissed Kara's tear stained cheek.

"Will you stay with me tonight?" Kara asked timidly. "I really don't want to be alone."

"Of course I will," Lena replied instantly which caused Kara to smile.

"I will get you some pj's," she said as she stood up and went to the dresser. "If you want to use the bathroom first you can," she said as she handed Lena a pair of sweats and her UONC shirt.

"Thanks," Lena responded as she took the clothes and headed towards the bathroom.

"There's and extra toothbrush in the drawer by the sink!" Kara called as she watched her leave.

As the two women cuddle into bed Lena felt a sense of warmth pass through her as Kara cuddled her choosing to wrap her arm around her as she felt her hot breath on her neck. Maybe Alex was right and she should tell Kara how she feels? That could all wait because right now having Kara in her arms was all she had ever wanted.

Lena awoke feeling cold, she frowned as she reached for Kara realizing she wasn't there, she found a note on the dresser and fumbled across the sheets to get it.

Lena, there was an emergency. Don't know when I will be back, thank you for last night and hopefully I will talk to you later .

Love, Kara.

Lena smiled as she set the note down, she thought about changing back into her old clothes but when she leaned down and sniffed the shirt it smelt like Kara and she talked herself out of it as she grabbed her stuff and made sure to lock the door as she left.

"Everything okay?" Alex asked Kara as she entered the DEO holding her ribs.

"I'm fine," Kara said through gritted teeth.

"Get Supergirl to the med bay immediately," J'onn told one of the agents who nodded as she ushered Kara through the double doors. Alex and J'onn close on their heels.

"Is she okay?" Alex asked as the DR. finished up the x-rays.

"It appears her powers were blown out and she has a few broken ribs, but if she rests she should be good as new," the DR said as she patted Supergirl's shoulder before grabbing her things and leaving.

"You're staying here," Alex ordered.

"No Alex I'm fine really," Kara said as she jumped off the table which caused her ribs to rattle and her to cry out in pain.

"Seriously?" Alex asked as she rolled her eyes at her sister.

"I'm not staying copped up in the DEO," Kara said through gritted teeth.

"Fine you can stay with me and Maggie," Alex snapped back.

"I'm not going to impose on you guys," Kara argued as she continued to hold her bruised ribs.

"Fine then Lena," Alex said with a smirk as she crossed her arms.

"I don't need a babysitter," Kara pouted as she hissed in pain.

"I will go call her then," Alex said as she walked out.

Lena was in the middle of paperwork when she heard Jess's voice, "Miss Luther there is an agent Danvers on line two for you."

"Thanks Jess," Lena said as she frowned before picking up the phone, "Alex what's wrong?"

"Kara is hurt and I didn't think she should be alone, can she stay with you?" Alex asked from the other end.

Lena panicked," Oh My God! How did she get hurt? Was it my mother? So help me God of she hurt her," Lena began to ramble.

"Luther shut up!" Alex shouted into the phone. "It was just a stupid Tricod Alien who made her blow out her powers before bruising her ribs, she will be fine."

"Oh thank Rao," Lena breathed out as she took a few calming breaths.

"Tell her please for your sake," Alex said.

"I can't," Lena replied as she closed her laptop realizing she wasn't going to be getting any work done worrying about the reporter.

"You clearly love her and she loves you," Alex shot out.

"But not the way I love her," Lena shot back.

"You may never know until you say something," Alex said before hanging up.

Lena just frowned at her phone before gathering her things and heading for the door, "Jess I'm taking the rest of the day off, cancel all my meetings and hold all my calls. Once you do so you are free to leave as well.

"Yes Miss Luther," Jess said as she began typing and calling people.

Lena arrived at the DEO twenty minutes later; she was waved in by security and was led towards the med bay by agent Vasquez.

Kara was lying under a sun lamp her eyes were closed and she was clutching her ribs clearly in pain.

"Kara sweetie?" Lena asked gently as she walked closer to the injured superhero.

Kara opened her eyes at the sound her name, she smiled when she saw Lena, "I told her not to call you. I'm fine."

"Well I'm glad she did," Lena shot back as she took Kara's hand. "I was worried about you."

"I'm fine really," Kara assured her as she squeezed her hand.

"Have you eaten anything?" Lena asked as she pulled over an empty stool and retook Kara's hand.

"Not since yesterday," Kara responded as she rubbed her eyes.

"Come on I'm breaking you out of here," Lena said as she held out her hand.

"You're the best," Kara beamed as she took her hand.

Alex watched the exchange with a smile.

"Let me get it for you," Lena said as Kara tried to reach for her blanket.

"Thank you," Kara said with a smile as she draped the blanket over herself and Lena causing Lena to beam.

The two women were in the middle of their third movie when Kara's phone rang.

"It's Clark," she said as she paused the movie.

Lena handed her her phone before getting up and walking to the kitchen to give her some privacy.

"Clark, hey what's up?" Kara asked as she answered her phone.

"Hey just wanted to see how you were doing, James told me what happened." Clark said.

Kara signed it had been a few weeks since she even thought about her ex, she had been just so happy spending time with Lena he never even crossed her mind, she smiled as she looked towards Lena who was trying to pre occupy herself why she was on the phone.

"Kara are you still there?" Clark asked.

"Yeah sorry, I'm doing great actually," Kara replied as she caught Lena's eyes, both women smiled shyly at each other before looking away.

"James said something about you and Lena," Clark began but Kara was quick to cut him off.

"Save it Kal-El, I don't need a lecture," Kara snapped.

"Look I know I don't have the best track record with the Luther's but I trust you and if you trust her so do I, she hasn't given me a reason not to."

Lena frowned as she saw tears welling up in Kara's eyes.

"That means a lot to me thank you," Kara cried out.

"Call me if you need me," Clark said.

"I will," Kara said before hanging up and wiping her eyes.

"Is everything okay?" Lena asked as she rushed over and wiped away Kara's tears.

Kara smiled as she took Lena's hands, "I'm fine they are happy tears," Kara assured her.

Lena beamed as she wiped away Kara's tears, "good I thought I might have to kick Superman's ass," Lena joked with a chuckle.

Kara laughed as she hugged Lena tightly, "I don't know what I would ever do without you."

Lena melted at the words as she hugged her a bit tighter. "Same here."

Both women jumped when they heard a bang on the door, "it's late, who could that be?" Kara asked as she attempted to get up, she cried out in pain as her ribs rattled.

"Lay down and rest I've got it," Lena assured her as she went to answer the door. She frowned when she saw James on the other side.

"James?" Kara asked as she attempted to sit up, she gritted her teeth in pain as she grabbed her ribs.

"Kara!" Lena cried out as she rushed to the superhero's aid.

James stood there watching as Lena helped Kara lay back down; he saw the look of pure love in his ex's eyes as she smiled at the CEO. It was then and there he knew for certain he lost.

"James what are you doing here?" Kara asked as she continued to hold Lena's hand.

"I'm sorry I shouldn't have come here," he said as he turned to leave.

"James wait," Kara called crying out in pain.

"Stop moving so much," Lena scolded her as she helped her stand.

Kara leaned on Lena as she looked her ex in the eyes, "why are you here?"

James looked back and forth between the two women as he signed, "Just tell her," James told Lena as he turned and left closing the door behind him.

Lena felt her heart beating wildly in her chest, did he know?" she thought as she helped Kara get settled back on the couch.

"Lena what was he talking about? Tell me what?" Kara asked as she pulled the blanket around herself.

"Kara I need to be honest with you about something," Lena said as she turned to the hero with tears in her eyes.

Kara immediately sat up ignoring the pain in her side as she cupped Lena's face, "what's wrong?"

"I love you," Lena whispered as she closed her eyes.

"I love you too," Kara immediately responded.

Lena opened her eyes staring into the deep blue of Kara's, "no I mean I'm in love with you," Lena tried again as she leaned her forehead against Kara's.

"Oh oh," Kara replied as she finally caught on.

"Yeah," Lena replied sadly as she moved further away from Kara on the couch, as she waited for her rejection.

"Why are you backing away?" Kara asked as she reached for Lena's hand which Lena immediately gave her.

"You're not mad?" Lena asked gently a look of confusion crossing her face.

"Why would I be mad?" Kara asked as she interlaced their fingers.

"I ruined your relationship," Lena cried out as she pulled her hand away and stood up wrapping her arms around herself.

"No James did!" Kara shot back causing Lena to jump at the outburst. "I'm sorry I yelled but I'm so sick of you always taking the blame for things that aren't your fault or for other people blaming you. You are the sweetest, most beautiful, funniest person I know, you deserve the world Lena," Kara said as she struggled to get up.

Lena pushed her back down as she sat beside her, "you really think so?" she asked as tears fell from her eyes.

Kara looked deep into those beautiful green eyes she felt so safe with as she threw caution to the wind and slowly leaned in as she captured Lena's lips.

Lena felt her heartrate speed up as she felt the lips of the woman she so desperately wanted finally touch her own, she tangled her hands in Kara's hair as she licked her bottom lip seeking entrance which was immediately granted, as their tongues met both woman moaned at the contact.

"I have waited so long for that," Lena whispered against Kara's lips.

"I'm sorry I waited so long," Kara whispered back. "I think a part of me always wanted you, that's why I could never choose."

"Well I'm glad you chose me and I'm sorry it was ever an option," Lena said as she kissed Kara's forehead.

"Oh and by the way I totally love you too," Kara said with a smile as she kissed Lena again.
